There's an 80% chance of rain today. Possible thunderstorm in the morning...

Interesting, so looking likely for a very wet P3?

And a very high chance of a wet race, which I'll miss cause I'll be at work :grumpy:

Ah well that money goes towards getting Sky so I can watch the Asian races, and Austin (and whatever else BBC doesn't have listed).

Could well be, providing if the forecast is accurate.

a wet race would be a disaster....I can already see a huge T1 pileup...

As long as it's not a real heavy showers, I think it will be fine. I didn't think there was a huge pile up in 2008 when it was wet.

I'm looking forward to this race. Hopefully we can get another exciting one, because this season so far is one of the best I can remember for a while...

The FIA loves to start these wet races under a safety car nowadays anyway. The last race that started wet, which didn't begin under the safety car was Silverstone last year, and that was only mildly damp if anything.

A bit off topic from the race itself but AT&T has signed a sponsorship deal with Red Bull Racing as a technical supplier.

Thunderstorms you say?

We could be looking at a possible repeat of the 1997 Monegasque GP, which means Vettel will win, Petrov will finish second with Webber finishing third. The two McLarens will choose the wrong tyres and crash, while the Ferraris will both retire in collisions at the chicane past the tunnel.

^Nah, 1996. Bruno Senna wins his only race with Jean-Eric Vergne and Kamui Kobayashi on the podium. :p Everyone else retires.

You sure Karthakayan didn't win? With Kovelinen and Senna 2nd and 3rd with all others retiring.

Karthakayan has a completely clean race, Kovelinen messes up front wing with 20 laps left which is how Karthakayan won and Senna broke all his wings throughout the race and finished with only a nosecone left..

/made up story.

I have this strange vision of Senna crashing into somone on the main straight on the final lap and his nosecone being thrown over the line in the accident.

No, Kathikeyan would be the equivelant of Badoer and he'd take out a title contender who qualified badly, who doesn't really like street tracks...lets say Button.

And on the penultimate lap, Charles Pic will spin near Portier then Massa and Rosberg will plough into him in a mini-pile up. Perez will be classified 6th despite touring into the pits a few laps before the end.

Seriously though, looking forward to qualifying.

35 minutes till P3 and it's meant to be raining I think. Will be right back with a weather report.

Also, since your flying home tomorrow can you watch the race Liquid?

50/50 on the rain front now. No doubt in me that the track will be already wet.

There's still plenty of hours left in the day for that to happen.

Personally, I hope it rains overnight and washes all the rubber away.

The Senna bashing has started already.

*rollseyes*

Inb4 joke about Senna bashing into other cars!

But only 18 minutes till Q3.. :dopey:

I just want a wet weekend. Will made for a super interesting Monaco weekend.

This may be incorrect, but my live timing app said it is raining.

EDIT: it was wrong, it's a great day in Monte Carlo.

Watching FP3 on Sky, looks a stunning morning in Monaco! Lovely blue sky, not a cloud in sight.

Watching on BBC..

Alain Prost is being interviewed.

Lucky dog. All I have is live timing :grumpy:

I'm sure if you look around you'll find a stream. I thought Speed showed these online anyway.

I don't really bother to be honest. I'm not really the kind of person who watches a stream; legal or otherwise.
