Stop beeing hypocrit we're talking about F1 here, where most drivers are here because they have money and can drive. Actually in most racing series you need to bring money to compete.
Thank you for the nice words. I reported you.
Keep up this attitude and you will get sanctioned by the mods, I think. ;)

I'm not the only one in this thread who has the same opinion about F1, money and D'Ambrosio and still I'm the one who gets insulted. www.gtplanet.net/forum/showpost.php?p=7580746#post7580746

Oops sorry about that :guilty:

There's something I've been wondering about though... Lotus is developing a passive F-duct right (using hydraulics to activate the system to stall the rear wing instead of a button like the 2010 Mclaren)?

Wouldn't it be much easier for them to make it driver operated (through the DRS button)? After all, we can see that any secondary functions/additions to the DRS is legal (for 2012), as seen with Mercedes this season.

There is a grey area in the regs, but you may get away with it. But Mercedes have it and they aren't storming away with the races, so the teams are not that bothered about developing their own version.

Oh yeah i'm totally only aiming on you, gonna get yah ! No seriously I can't believe you report me like that and didnt try to talk to me to try to see why I said that. Way to go~ I dont care if you're not the only one, my opinion is that all of you are wrong and biased.
D'Ambrosio is just another F1 drivers. Most of them are on the grid because they have money and not because they are more talented than other drivers. So dont make it like D'ambrosio is an exception here. Give him a chance, trash him after the GP if he do very badly, but dont trash him before he does everything, he deserve a chance like many other drivers had one.

You reported him for calling you a hypocrite? Touchy...

Anyway, Ferrari looked pretty good in practice. McLaren is going to be tough to beat. Hamilton and Alonso on the front row tomorrow. :D

I think that Mercedes' DDRS may be more effective than it seems, as it really enhances their qualifying (and straight line) speed. It's just that the car's poor fundamentals (like horrible tyre wear) has pulled down their results.

I'm impress how fast Alonso is in the parabolica. He's always taking time to both mclaren. His line is so impressive in that corner.

Indeed. Just looking at the replay of P3 and Alonso is flying through parabolica! Looks totally at the limit.

I wouldn't still say that RB is going slow this weekend. Those times are from friday, where it's possible to set things up for the actual race. Today practise should be preparation for qualifying so that's where I think we see the real speed comparison.

Didn't turn out that way did it, from commentary they mentioned that they never took a new engine where as all the other top guys did. Guess they've accepted that they won't make it up in the corners like they could last year.

Ferrari and McLaren both looking very fast tho :)

Hulkenburg out with a gearbox issue. Hard to see anyone but Alonso winning here.

Time for Massa to be a slipstream bitch.

Hamilton, Button, the Mercs?

Maybe McLaren but Alonso is looking on fire here. Not a certainty by any stretch although if I had to bet money it would definitely be on Alonso.

The heck was Maldonado doing there? He had no reason to go onto the grass.

Fingers crossed for a McLaren 1-2 :D

Good to see Massa right up the order

*waits for the ridiculing to begin*

Ridicule, Ridicule, Ridicule. Does that satisfy you?

Red Bull severely down on straight line speed, it's only a surprise that Vettel isn't down there as well.

Alex.
Time for Massa to be a slipstream bitch.

Something Lewis could get if he goes to Mercedes ;)

Looked tight but I'm gonna go for Alonso (even if it is with the help of Massa)

Would like to see Di Resta do well tho.

Ferrari either going to get pole or to comically mess it up.

I know that. Funny that webber isn't facing the same kind of ridicule that Sebastian was this time last week...

That's probably because Vettel is a double world champion and not the most popular driver on the track and therefore will polarise opinion.

I don't remember reading much Webber flack recently.

Dang, them McLarens is fast.

Great job Massa!

Like I said Alonso is on fire. McLarens were nowhere.

Gutted that Di Resta has a 5 place grid penalty. :ouch:

wow great job Mclaren. Massa saving Ferrari, what a shock.

Perfect qualifying!!!!

Hamilton Pole, Jenson 2nd and Alonso 10th!!! YES YES YES
