Bottas, Vergne, then the usual teams. Will Redbull pick up the pace and get into Q3?

Bianchi 1.2 seconds faster than Chilton...

RBR struggling. Mercedes seems to be doing ok in hard tyres. This gonna be exciting. Watch out for Alonso.

Only confirming what we already knew, the Caterham is slow: Pic almost a second behind Bianchi. Spain cannot come quickly enough for them.

Bianchi. :D Good show.

Sutil. Once again showing he has pace.

RBR. :indiff: Need to up their game.

Now it's raining, and with RBR running such a low wing setting, they could be in trouble if they make it to Q3 and it continues raining.

Grosjean really struggling in pace, it's weird because last year he was on par with Raikkonen on qualification.

Di Resta spins the car, I don't think he's going to make it to Q3. Sad because I think he has the pace but the rain has caught him out.

Pressure certainly getting to Di Resta, the rain didn't help though. I hope Sutil out qualifies him every race.

Good job from Hulkenberg, 1.1 seconds faster than Gutierrez.

Grosjean had used Medium tyres for his first run, that could explain a bit the gap between him and kimi (1sec).

I have no idea why he or/and Force India thought it was a good idea to abort his fast lap at the start of the session. We'll never know if it would have been enough to get him through to Q3 but with rain on the way, it was blindingly obvious that he should have stayed out.

I imagine you and others like seeing Di Resta fall short, not sure why, but I don't care for FI either way.

I just don't understand the clamour over Di Resta.

Indeed, it's always best to get a time on the board, then try and better it at the end. If you don't, you leave yourself wide open.

Looks like it's stopped raining, maybe some drivers will switch over to slicks.
