Southampton are selling like their in FIFA career mode, 11 players out already and 13 if those 2 deals go through but the worst thing is that most of them are important members of the team.

They should try sign one really top-class player for like 40 million. Future players will be more inclined to stay.

Any Cardiff city fans that can comment on Berget? I haven't watched him play but he's signed for Celtic on a year loan deal.

Eh, Southampton will buff out.

Thanks to Koeman they look like they're buying the best parts of the Eredivisie anyway. And it supplied most of this year's 3rd team at the WC.

Liverpool sign Divock Origi from Lille for £10 million....and have made a bid for Southampton's tea lady....
In other news Spurs have seen Liverpool's interest in the tea lady and Liverpool are now focusing their intentions on Southampton's assistant groundsman.

Paul Scholes has signed with BT Sport to be a pundit for the next four years and will also do a bit for ITV, he has done a bit for Sky since he retired and he was really good, but It does mean that Van Gaal hasn't found room for him in his backroom staff...

For someone that was media shy during his career, he certainly is making up for it now. Anybody would think he is short of a few bob.

As for S****ampton, let them sell all their players, then have the owner sell up.

At Southampton's preseason practise...

What a game 5-3 in penalties winning against inter. Still sad seeing Vidic on a different team he's still got class in my opinion. Zaha played well he has a lot of potential along with Blackett and Keane. Also Van Gaal went crazy at the 4th official :p quite funny.

@NINE_HUNDRED I think Van Gaal has said he wants another defender in a press conference. I'm sure signings will be made soon. How clear is the Vidal signing I won't believe anything until I see him in a red shirt.

Morgan Schneiderlin has reportedly put in a transfer request as he is apparently not happy with all the players leaving, I can understand that but putting in a transfer request wont help things!

Everton bought Lukaku for 28 million pounds...

Chelsea... wat ar u doin???? :scared:
I read that Lukaku wanted to be the number 1 striker at Chelsea but Jose couldn't give him that so he let him go, plus it's helped them remain within the financial fair play rules.

From what I understand the deal is £5 million upfront with the rest being added for things like if they qualify for the Champions League and such and as Peasantslayer touched on Chelsea did need to break even in this transfer window to help them FFP wise which is exactly what they have done so for, they have sold Ba, Lukaku, De Bruyne, and Luiz for £118 million and bought Luis, Costa and Fabregas for £75 million, they have done some very good business so far!

Also, did anyone hear about what happened to Celtic last night?!

Someone from Celtic said recently that it was ridiculous that they had to go through a qualifying round to make the Champions League, when your star players are Samaras and Commons you should have to earn your place.

Well they are not earning it so far, took a beating at the hands of Legia Warsaw Last night, lost 4-1 had a player sent off and Legia could afford to miss two penalties, two Celtic players argued at the end and had to be pulled apart by their teammates, I didn't watch the game but the match report I read described the defeat as demoralising...

Hull played their first ever competitive game in Europe tonight in a Europa League qualifier, they drew 0-0 out in Slovakia...

While everyone's wondering if Vidals coming to man utd I reckon we will sign hummels. We don't need vidal he's old and Van Gaal says he buys players for the long term. Hummels is 25 with the best years yet to come. And it will probably be after the tour.

Vidal is old?

He is 27... I'd much rather have Vidal over Carrick and/or Fletcher who are older, and not close to Vidal's level.

And i'd love to see Hummels. He would also be a great signing.

Remember when we bought Keane he was one of the best box to box midfielders in that time but suffered with a knee injury. I reckon we either haven't made any contact with Juve over Vidal or they don't want to buy someone who could be prone to injuries in the next few seasons. True though but I like Fletcher I'd rather us by Strootman in the January window when he's fully fit which is probably whats going to happen.

Memo Ochoa finally has a team. He has been signed by Malaga from the Spanish 1st Division.

Buena suerte Memo!!!

I think Van Gaal is waiting to see if Fellaini will move before signing Vidal and the Hummels price is a bargain, £24 million for a World Cup winning defender!
