I don't believe that at all...Hamilton could have won the race, but obviously he chose to let Rosberg have it to lull him into a false sense of security ahead of Abu Dhabi.
[/average Hamilton fan]
It's called sarcasm.I don't believe that at all...
I bet more than anything that Lewis wanted to further his streak... Not to just give it to his teammate
They're just as bad over at PlanetF1. Seriously! The Hamilton fanboys on Twitter make me cringe.
coming from a LH fan himself
Seriously on twitter people are saying Merc messed with his brakes (again, really?)They're just as bad over at PlanetF1. Seriously!![]()
It's best to avoid PlanetF1 and the Crash comments section. They're just as bad over at PlanetF1. Seriously!![]()
I didn't even realize it was a re-airing until halfway through the race.Just caught the replay of the race since I wasn't awake for the start of the live airing. First time that NBC has re-aired it, so I got to watch it in HD.
Boring race overall...
They do have a big RUIN LEWIS' RACE button in the pits.Seriously on twitter people are saying Merc messed with his brakes (again, really?)![]()
Hamilton can't finish worse than 2nd if Rosberg wins at Abu Dhabi, so barring any issues in the finale, it's Hamilton's championship.I didn't even realize it was a re-airing until halfway through the race.
At one point, NBC said that if Rosberg won, Hammy must win Abu Dhabi to be champion. Someone hand them a calculator.
Boring race overall...
If Rosberg wins in Abu Dhabi, and Hamilton finishes 3rd or lower, then he's got the title! So that's exactly what I'm hoping for. Perhaps it's wrong of me to choose who I support over their attitudes and personalities, as opposed to simply their driving skill. But that's what I'm going off.Hamilton can't finish worse than 2nd if Rosberg wins at Abu Dhabi, so barring any issues in the finale, it's Hamilton's championship.
I owe you an apology. I'm watching the BBC highlights and David Coulthard has just confirmed exactly this! 👍Very easy to defend here though, a pit stop pass was the only hope.
Well, they're airing the race back-to-back-to-back then, and on 3 different networks since the first airing was on CNBC I think.God damnit I though this started in 20 minutes because that's when NBCSN is playing it. I have to remember to check the real schedule.
Some people choose which driver they support by driver nationality. Personality is far from the worst reason to prefer one driver over another.Perhaps it's wrong of me to choose who I support over their attitudes and personalities, as opposed to simply their driving skill. But that's what I'm going off.
Ah Hamilton, you just don't make it easy on yourself do you. Not that I'm not happy we get to see an exciting final, but Hamilton basically had this championship in the bag until that error.
It probably won't make a difference, if he does make it to the line in Abu Dhabi it will be very likely be 1st or 2nd. He had to take a risk and push to win, had he not he would have been stuck behind Nico anyway.Ah Hamilton, you just don't make it easy on yourself do you. Having won today Hamilton would have been like 30+ points ahead, I think if Hamilton were to finish at least 6th in Abu Dhabi he would be the WDC with a win today even if Rosberg wins in the final race. Anything can happen realistically in the final race, gonna be tense for sure. Not sure with double points first or second today made that much difference.
How exactly did Nico 'get ahead of himself' here? Lewis has bigged himself up far worse after winning plenty of times.Looking at the Q&A and post race stuff... too comical..
Q: Hamilton, I have been for a long time very jealous of you - not only of your driving but also of your old girlfriend. Where is Nicole?
Lewis Hamilton: …She's at home.
Q: OK, say hello to her and you did fantastic
and this, it may be true for this race, but he doesn't need to get too ahead of himself..
Nico Rosberg Q&A: I never let Lewis get within striking distance

I just wonder sometimes what would be going on now if at Singapore the tables were turned?
Although I am more in favor of Nico to win this year, Lewis is by some degree the better driver. How is it as NBC said, that Lewis is able to catch up to Nico every race and still use less fuel? And either Nico was pushing it as hard as he could those last laps, or it was the turbulence which couldn't allow him to pass...How exactly did Nico 'get ahead of himself' here? Lewis has bigged himself up far worse after winning plenty of times.
