I predict a bit of a crash.

Hoping none of them. Fingers crossed here.

SC , bet it is for Holland demolishing tyre barriers.

Does Moffat have to go off across the grass or gravel once a race

Morgan 2nd , Moffat 4th. Not a Merc 1-2 :guilty:

Prialux  , 2 bad moves on Moffat (expecting the stewards to do something one of the commentators said it too.)

Several aggressive manoeuvres and BMW woes. Still a great race, especially the early laps!

Moffat will get 3rd tbh, Steward won't overlook two hits.

Priaulx's manoeuvre on Plato and the first contact with Moffat was fair enough. The push to pass for 3rd was questionable.

I really like Priaulx's attitude. He's calm and quiet, but without being cocky.

Pushing his luck with that second move though.

It was inevitable a move like that was going to happen especially on this track. Priaulx is normally clean and conformed so I think they will let the 'risky pass' slide.

Jackson showed that Motorbase are back with a bang. Three great points hauls and two podiums can't be overlooked.

This is easily my least favourite event on the BTCC calendar. All sense of racecraft, conduct and track limits go out of the window and it's just a corner-cutting crashfest.

I suspect that the lap length (not much) and configuration which makes for only one passing place contributes to the stupidity.

Wasn't really a crashfest though today... but have to ask when did the hairpin get re-profiled? :odd:

Priaulx received a 3.5 second penalty for his move on Moffat so Moffat gets 3rd :).

As it should have been, wonder what comments @hsv will come up with to talk moffats performance down this time.

Is there any way I can watch race 3 on catch up?

Personally I'm relatively happy with the Priaulx situation. One of my fears was always that he'd not get his elbows out enough when racing mid pack,.. nice to see he can, and if it deserves a penalty then fair enough... That's touring cars!

I had a great time at Knockhill, it remains one of my favourites.

Well, that was my first time at Knockhill watching the BTCC. It's a brilliant circuit to watch from, makes a nice change after Le Mans, considering I can walk the whole track in 25 minutes  I'll upload a couple of pics tomorrow!

I feel bad for Priaulx for being penalised. He's one of the cleanest drivers in the BTCC, and before he made his move, Moffat drove him completely off the road when he tried to pass out of the last hairpin. The moves he made on Moffat and Plato in race 3 looked like he was (for once) stooping to the standard BTCC level, so if he was penalised, so should most of the grid for their own moves.

Thoroughly enjoyed the trip to Knockhill for the racing.

Martin showered the crowd in gravel where I was standing in R1 before Jeff Smith's comedy showcase in R2 at the same spot.
