What

I'd be amazed that at the end of lap 1 there isn't a safety car called

10 minute delay

Hulkenberg says that Charlie said that there will be a normal start.

👍

Edit.

Apparently that interview was before Grosjean did his thing.

What are they expecting the 10 minutes to change?

paint is really slippery. When it's raining i try to avoid it even on my bicycle, and im not sure it has even one torque! :P

They want to be sure that all of Grosjean's bits are cleared.

Didn't look like there was too much CF, the wheels took most of the impact.

So who's got multiple sets of wets left? Everyone?

Safety car start!

Race to start behind safety car

Well yeah, they've not been used at all this weekend.

Haven't been keeping track of the weather. Heard somewhere that it was supposed to rain all weekend. Guess not

****'s sake. Of course Lewis is on the radio wanting a safety car start.

So much for "there won't be no more starts behind the Safety Car" after the debacle that was the last SC start.
That takes the biggest opportunity for Rosberg away.

Welp either this will still be an interesting race or most likely another snoozefest

Where have you heard that? Brundle was saying he thinks Hamilton would want one, he didn't say he'd actually said it.

The rules are meant to be changing next year, IIRC. So they do the SC laps to clear water then come to a stop and do the standing start. But yeah, that's for next year.

So Lewis has already won then...

NEXT RACE PLEASE

Come on, SC start hardly guarantees anything beyond T1.
Highly doubt that Rosberg will really push much. Probably will look to keep a steady gap to Lewis for the case something goes wrong for him, otherwise settle for second and secure as many points as possible.

Race underway.....

The bulls will though, nothing to lose.
