So if you aren't in the 11 that had to pit, are you not allowed to come down and get tires, without of getting a penalty? If so, this race has gone to absolute ape:censored:.
No. That was the entire point of the gimmick. Half the field on new tires trying to pass half the field on old tires.

Damn, should have posted "In before the salt in the thread because Larson drove it too hard and ****ed himself"

That was still a good finish though. Gotta give Larson props because he gave it everything he had to attempt to defend his lead.

I really wanted Larson to win but this should be the thread title. That said, when he wins one, it'll be the most satisfying win this side of JG's first

I still am wondering why anyone would have wanted to stay out after seeing what happened in segment 1.

INB4 only race the #22 wins this year.

Now that that's out of my system, what in the actual hell did I just watch? Not that Logano won, but that was some of the worse scorekeeping I've ever seen from NASCAR. Jesus...

Next time, NASCAR needs to not score caution laps and also should consider just putting everyone on the lead lap after every segment. Hell, it's the All Star race. They might as well let everyone have a legit shot at the money. Or they could also run the track backwords while saying nice things about Brian France- that would work too.

There should be a new format every year, it's the All Star race, why keep it the same? I refer back to my earlier idea, every driver submits an idea with a minimum length of 100 miles, maximum length of 200 miles, and have a drawing at the pre race, after the drawing put the drivers in the cars and the cars on track

With a weirdest idea wins clause for good measure

I'm still pushing for my idea of running every odd-numbered lap on the 1/4 mile circle track in the infield grass.

Can they open up the infield road course for every lap that is a multiple of ten?

Can we make the 2nd segment a lip sinc battle? Drivers must use their intro songs from bristol.

Do it!!!

But seriously, make it happen, NASCAR!
