It's happened before so no big deal really, Fox Sports used to air several races on FX during the 2001-2006 TV deal. The USA Network is basically Comcast's version of FX.Notice that the Watkins Glen race and several others are on USA due to the Olympics, NXS at the Glen is also on CNBC and the NXS finale is now on NBCSN sadly![]()
Showing races on FX would be way better than FS1It's happened before so no big deal really, Fox Sports used to air several races on FX during the 2001-2006 TV deal. The USA Network is basically Comcast's version of FX.
I think they would if they didn't have FS1, they've got to have something big to promote FS1 and nascar is their choice.Showing races on FX would be way better than FS1
That is completely different then moving races to other networks for various reason's, the 2001-2006 TV deal was for FOX and FX, NBC and TNT.It's happened before so no big deal really, Fox Sports used to air several races on FX during the 2001-2006 TV deal. I was talking about how it's not the first time that nascar has not been on a channel that typically does sports. You are correct about it being on a different network for various reasons (in this case the olympics) and not part of the deal like FOX and FX was for 2001-2006.That is completely different then moving races to other networks for various reason's, the 2001-2006 TV deal was for FOX and FX, NBC and TNT.
It was only a few years ago that they wanted to standardized the start times for races...

Cause no one in the area has a working clock or watch, so they'll use old man Roush's sundial hence the 3:15ish
USA Network has done tennis and the Olympics before. TNT has done NBA games for 20+ years as has TBS when they were showing NASCAR. A ridiculous channel would be something like BET or CNN (not CNNSI, which did have some events).I was talking about how it's not the first time that nascar has not been on a channel that typically does sports. No, it's because a hotdog wrapper may blow onto the track causing 5 more caution laps for some reason.
No idea either, the only races going on are WEC and F1 in the Morning. Why is the Indy race starting that late? And why, aside from Martinsville, Pocono and New Hampshire, are all the races pushed back roughly an hour when they switch to NBC/NBCSN?
It is neat to see Richmond having a day race again. If circuits have two races a year and lights, I like seeing them run one during the day and the other prime time. I would like to see Charlotte go back to that, but I'm sure Bruton or Humpy or whoever would never allow it. Any why doesn't Phoenix have a night race anymore?
Lots of why's from me.
Not a new livery, just a recolor for one of the flavors of Nature Bakery items.
It's unfortunate that that's one of the best looking cars we've seen this year, as that should just be a middle tier looking paint scheme most yearsThis one seems to have slipped through unnoticed, although it is Biffle. I think it looks pretty decent compared to the rest of what we've seen. It'd be better if it didn't have the splash of liquid on the sides.

EDIT: This video's pretty nice at saying what's different this year
Good breakdown but I couldn't get over thinking of him as Larry Mac but with a deep voice.
