Man that was something! Damm good driving from Kyle and Aj 👍

Edit: Someone just threw a beer can on the track. Really?!

I always pull for Kyle, but man is it cool to see a AJ finish up front. Really happy for the guys 2nd through 5th. Gotta love how people say how useless Brian Vickers, but that was proof he deserves a ride somewhere.

Shout out to Edwards and Jr. for being there mixing it up at the end after being a lap down for most of the race. Also, Danica actually looked solid there today.

I won my fantasy league this week thanks to Vickers. Always liked him. Dude hasn't been able to catch a break. Good for him. How about Larson and Allmendinger. Awesome.

I was hoping AJ could run Kyle down. Still a good race, good to see a bunch of drivers have a much needed good day, AJ, Larson, Vickers, Menard, Newman & Biffle.

Being at the race today was a blast!

Seeing Kenseth run second all day, only to finish fifteenth because of a late caution was quite disappointing.

Another actually good race and I didn't watch it. Getting tired of your 🤬, self.

I'm more amazed at how much Kyle is happy for doing that. Nice video haha

I definitely can't remember the last time Kyle DIDN'T look annoyed while signing a fan's autograph so yet another massive change.

I really wanted to see the race today, but I had a family gettogether for multiple birthdays. Looks like a lot of surprising names ran pretty well. Good for them.

Looks like a few drivers that don't normally finish in the top half had good results.

Good job on them.

Harvick the worst of the SHR drivers. Wow. That's great to see.

I wonder what his reaction would of been had he not swept Martinsville.

It would not be the same video if someone had pulled the ole bump and run to win the Cup race.

I don't know why a lot of people were shocked at AJ's good run yesterday. Possibly his best oval and it's not like the team has been running 30th all year
Allmendinger has now finished 2nd at Martinsville twice, once in the 47 car, and once in the 22 car during his doomed season at Penske Racing.

RCR as a whole seems a step ahead of where they were last season (including the satellite 47 team). It's nice to see Dillon and Menard making positive gains. I think Newman is probably still underperforming relative to his talent level, though.

So Kyle Busch went from never winning Martinsville in any of the top three Touring Series in a combined 30-something starts... to sweeping the weekend. Funny how things change. All congratulations to Rowdy.

Fellow Texans of GTPlanet- native and non-native... NASCAR is ready to bless our great state with racing action at Texas Motor Speedway this weekend. Yep. This weekend in NASCAR is all about the Lone Star State's finest high-speed battleground. It will be NASCAR XFINITY and NASCAR Cup rocking Texas Motor Speedway up in RACECAR country this weekend.

Now for my usual lighthearted post. Texas Motor Speedway is actually one of my personal favorite courses. The course is almost like a road course. You can go fast here, but the roads are a bit narrow compared to some other ovals. It is still a great course to race on. If you're thinking NASCAR and Texas, you certainly have to make mention of the LaBonte family *straight outta* Corpus Christi. These days, the popular Texans are the Bueschers, James and Chris. NASCAR used to race Texas World Speedway out in College Station. What would be awesome is if NASCAR had maybe a one-off race around Circuit of the Americas down in Austin. That probably will never happen. Or could you imagine if COTA replaced the second Texas race as part of the Chase for the Cup?

Anyhow, NASCAR this weekend is all about Texas. Enjoy this weekend's races.

I think all 1.5 mile race tracks will be good this season with the new package. Looking really forward for some night racing at Texas.

I wasn't shocked, more like happy to see him have a good run get a top 5.

Honestly, there's only 2 or 3 tracks at most that deserve 2 races but Nascar will never really do anything about that. Daytona and Charlotte for sure as they are the 2 homes of Nascar, and then maybe Darlington because of how ridiculously difficult it is compared to other ovals. Other than those 3 I see no reason to go to any of the tracks that have 2 races twice, mix it up dammit.
