Can say with good certainty that Harvick was offered a spot at Hendrick next season, with Kahne probably being demoted to HSM to finish out his two year contract.
I kinda had my hopes up here. HMS would be near invincible then. Though, I hope Rick Hendrick does the same when Larson's contract at CGR is up after how well he drove

Was or has been?

My age was shown as well as how closely I follow NASCAR I complimented a post from Danica Patrick's Facebook fan page. I mentioned "43 or something cars" when NASCAR Cup grids are now 40 cars strong. Now had this been YouTube or Instagram, I'd get lashed out. I'm still proud of my girl Danica finishing 13th. I still think she's going to win in NASCAR- even if she wins only once in her entire NASCAR career much like she won only once in her IndyCar Series career.

So the next stop on NASCAR's tour of awesomeness is Charlotte Motor Speedway. All-Star Weekend this coming weekend, and then the Coca-Cola 600. I personally love Charlotte as one of my favorite ovals. If you're talking a bucket list of places to win at, almost any NASCAR racer would have to include Charlotte on that list. It's up there with the likes of Daytona, Talladega, Indianapolis, and maybe even Darlington too.

The next two weeks should mean plenty of insanity around Charlotte. Get psyched.

I'm not going to be one of the those people that immediately declares one way or the other whether Harvick moves, but I will say I'd be surprised if he did. Ford's gonna want to keep the championship winning driver at the championship winning team that they, presumably, paid top dollar for.

Harvick hasn't raced a Ford since he was in the Truck series 16 years ago. If he wants to stay at Chevy it makes sense. At the same time, Kahne's career has completely unraveled.

I know the manufacturer thing may be an impact, but money I feel is a much larger impact

If Harvick thinks that he can win another championship by driving a Ford for SHR, then he will probably stay. He has to be imagining how much better SHR can be as Ford's flagship team, if Team Penske can win so many races as just a two car team.

Plus, I'm sure the money offered by Ford will be huge. That won't hurt their chances.

I never thought I would see the day that Tony Stewart would leave GM, considering that he left JGR shortly after their change to Toyota.

Considering he won't be driving next year, its not gonna nearly be as big a deal for him

Kinda torn on this. I like the simplicity of the first one, the stars on the second one and what I think is some great use of the lines on the third one.

#2 looks like it has a Petty swoosh

This obviously means Hamlin is getting the boot at JGR to make room for Erik Jones, and Hamlin going over to the #44 since it's 4x better than the #11 :sly:

For that reason, the first one gets my vote.

To be fair, Jones is a brilliant driver who nearly won a race in his first sprint cup series start filling in for Kyle Busch. And since the teams are capped at 4 cars (I'm starting to hate that rule more and more with each passing season) he's gotta go somewhere.

Even if it were true, would Kevin seriously talk about it on Twitter, there's really no point in posting tweets about it beyond a source tweet to open the discussion as it's just rumors at this point

Silly fool, thinking they were gonna get an answer for something like that from Harvick of all people on Twitter.

I don't doubt he'll eventually come to cup, I just thought the idea that this Sonoma paint scheme is somehow the biggest indicator that Jones is replacing Hamlin is abit on the "Good stuff" side of crazy.

Maybe JGR can coax Furniture Row into fielding a second car for Jones.

Right now, there's no weak link in the JGR stables.

Not sure how interested you guys are in Forza, but the NASCAR trailer came out, if I had a XBone, I'd almost certainly get it

I wish, but I was just having some fun. Still, I just now realized that #1 looks awfully similar to Johnson's Lowe's scheme.

Also, the Chevrolets on the Forza expansion don't have any traces of SS on them, as per usual it seems :indiff:

I expect the painting community will fix that pretty quickly.

Still a boneheaded decision to remove it from every model though, IMO.

Wait, really? :odd: Strange, I don't think PD removed the SS logo from the Gen 6 cars on GT6 so I'm baffled on why Turn 10 would.

About...damn...time.

Nice. Kyle Busch rocking the Interstate Batteries colors of former champ (and native Texan) Bobby LaBonte. Nice deal for "Rowdy."

By the way, Something like IndyCar and NASCAR would be something I'd probably expect in a Gran Turismo. It would still be a crazy deal even if I had an XBOX One and Forza Motorsport 6. I'd still check it out.
