I tried to watch the race, but my livestream site wasn't working. Then tried to watch with MRN and NASCAR Drive, And I just couldn't pay attention. Can't wait for NASCAR to upload it to YouTube so I can see it because it sounds like it was a disaster...
The scoring was terrible. Jamie McMurray's wreck near the end of segment one really screwed up the entire event.
Most of the debacle could have been avoided by not counting caution laps.
I would have liked to see Larson and Logano trying to pass nine cars on older tires there at the end. There just weren't enough lead lap cars to make it a fair fight for the cars on older tires.
Had everyone not been lapped, it would have been awesome. Even still, there's always a wreck in those that takes out 5-8 cars too, so I kinda figured the first guys out of the pits would be the ones to fight it out for the win.
Considering NASCAR's attendance drops, they probably would not even need to upgrade the stands. Just have lots of general admission. Now if this was NASCAR from the early 2000s, there would need to be some stands built.
