For those concerned by the Kunimitsu Phase 0 livery:

Well they improved a lot from Phase 0 already, great job. It seems that the 2016 SuperGT field will be both colorful and great-looking, especially with most classic liveries not being dead just yet. Long live the ARTA orange, despite its new German household! This season should be interesting alright...

Some general notes from the Okayama pits:

The #36 TOM'S RC F is still without a title sponsor, which is quite remarkable considering the team and driver combination. Hopefully that changes very soon.

VivaC are doing some front aero work on the MC 86:

As are R&D:

The new ZENT Cerumo livery was seen in the flesh for the first time:

And LMCorsa were showing off their new 488 GT3:

Ooh, neon glow striping on ZENT's car? Why do I get the impression that those will work great in longer endurance races as striping that glows in the dark?

Maybe @Bo can confirm this, but I believe ARTA is still running an NSX in GT500, so the livery is far from dead :)

Yes indeed, here is the new ARTA livery in full with the updated NSX:

They appear to be switching between silver and gold wheels for testing. The gold looks nice, a hark back to the championship winning days of the old NSX.

I do say keep the gold, but I am pretty sure that either way, ARTA's own Honda will be hard to miss. It is a good thing that I was wrong, really, because otherwise the SGT grid would be one great-looking car short.

Twitcher is right; the SuperGT must be amongst the prettiest racing car grids in the current motorsport scene. From Hatsune Miku tributes to old glory ones, this grid has everything!

Okayama testing times are in, and it's the WAKO'S 4CR RC F on top. Lexus appear to be dominant in GT500.

There was a big accident for the VivaC 86 today, supposed suspension failure. There doesn't appear to be any tub damage so they hope to have the car rebuilt in time for the first round.

Well, since nobody is as excited about it as I am, I believe that the Autobacs BMW M6 will mark the very first time a GT3 spec machine will have used Bridgestone tires.

Really? In all the times their have been GT3 cars in Super GT, only now one of them is on them? That's a surprise.

Also, I'm guessing there's no chance we'll see an Autobacs NSX in GT300, is there?

I guess there isn't anywhere in the states that shows these races. I've been interested in watching since I see those cars in Gran Turismo all the time.
