And to think 12 months ago their lineup was Huertas and Dracone. Props to Coyne, that's a very respectable turnaround.

I consider 2015 to be an off year for DCR. 2016 should be a huge turnaround for them, and by that I mean they won't have a driver trying to kill everyone in his way.

She's always been a solid driver. Just never had the opportunity in great cars.
 
Don't forget they'll also have an all-female crew, at least if the earlier news were true.

That will, quite frankly, be Katherine's downfall no matter how good her performance is in the car...

I'm not sure on that. What I do know is Graham Rahal needs a new race engineer now.
 
IndyCar posted a YouTube video chronicling the top 10 closest finishes in it's 20 year history. Couple things I noted...
1) IndyCar racing has always been phenomenal.
2) Look at how full the stands were even in 2011.

3) Paul Page was/is a fantastic announcer and should really be on TV broadcasts again.

Up until this year he had been lead on Indycar Radio. I guess he's retired from full-time broadcasting now.

I highly Doubt you will see Rahal Letterman let any of it's main guys go after last year, Talbott and Pare combined with Jones is probably the most solid line up of engineers working on a car on the grid and would mostly make Graham one of the hot favourites for the title this year, it should be noted this was the combo of engineers he used in Champcar with Newman/Haas(Talbott and Pare) that Helped him be the Youngest Winner in Indycar History.

IndyCar is looking at doing an International non-points race in October.

Yeah at least it's racing to an extent. Hopefully they go through with this and at some point completely abandon the Boston group's ideas (like they should have the moment that group opened their mouths).
 
Lausitz would be cool definitely. IndyCar's always rocked the ovals so why not take it over there?

I dont believe Lausitz has safer barriers and in turn wouldn't be up to scratch safety wise, and for the same reason we wont see them as a side show to the Bathurst 1000 that weekend,

They have a great opportunity to create something special here, dont balls it up,
