Looks like a chain reaction. Dixon was trying to avoid the silver car (Power?), Kanaan tries to avoid Dixon and there is Bourdais on the left side.

According to RACER Magazine, the cancelled Boston street course race will be replaced with... Watkins Glen. I saw that news from RACER Magazine's Facebook fan page this morning. This race will be run on Labor Day weekend.

Simon Pagenaud leading the race on lap 28 of 82 as of this post.

Gotta tip the hat to the Penske pit crew for that one. A great comeback for Rahal and a good finish for Daly in the Indy 500 test session. Pigot and Brabham too.

Thanks to bad weather, I was unable to see most of the rest of the race after my post. Congratulations to the race winner.

The Watkins Glen race is the weekend I go back to college next academic year (My school is literally half an hour away from WGI), I'm probably gonna go

Pirtek liveries are supposed to be dark blue with red highlights (and a bright yellow sponsor name). This is what a Pirtek livery is supposed to look like:

They're necessarily 'supposed' to look like anything. The BTCC cars this year are using chrome blue, back in the day a couple of Ambrose's cars had orange highlights instead of the red, and his '03 car also had a large amount of black. And if we go back to '00, '01 and '02, the Pirtek V8Supercars were primarily blue and white. So I don't think a Pirtek livery is 'supposed' to look like anything. Whatever the sponsor likes most, is what suits, and obviously they liked the decision of the additional black towards their Indycar.

3 things from that:
1) Chassis now referred to as IR12, not DW12. Since when?
2) No Lazier entry. Guess it flopped.
3) Having Pippa Mann as the exclusive female in the event is like throwing in the Cincinnati Bengals as the greatest NFL team ever. Yeah, I'll cheer for her...while sobbing uncontrollably with disappointment.

Tex
Lazier is 3rd, unless you are talking about someone else.
I missed him. He used to be #91

It's only day 1. My bet, by Wednesday, the Chevys will have caught up.

Probably, but this is the first time we have seen the New Super speedway layouts on track.

Lets hope it lasts longer than his bacon powered car did last year.

Finally got a chance to finish watching the race. Great to see Daily with a strong finish. It was also good to see Rossi running well until he had his off - looks like he got a hard lesson in racing on a track with no paved runoff :sly:

Hard hit for Spencer.
