2017 IMSA WeatherTech SCC - Round 7: MosportSports Cars

Hi to my family at home!
It wouldn't be so bad if he did it at the end of his interviews and not awkwardly in the middle.

Rather intriguing race so far. Great to see the Lexus up front. V8's leading in every class so far. :D

The 3 mph top speed advantage the Oreca has means nothing because of the torque advantage the Caddy has out of the slow turn onto the back straight.

WTR retains a 19 point lead ahead of the #5 AXR Cadillac after finishing seventh due to the accident with the Vette. #31 AXR Cadillac is 24 back from the #10.

The JDC Miller team has really put the fight to the Caddies for the past couple of races. They look to be the team that will probably get the first win of a WEC P2 this season with how they've ran lately.

On another note, I think the AXR 5 with the Glen livery is still the best liveried car out of all the teams that did a 4th of July scheme.

That crash was surreal to watch live, my viewpoint from Turn 5 didn't afford a view of the Ford hitting the Corvette first but very much the rest of it. It looked like it happened in slow motion to me even though that was probably a 120 mph (ish) crash. I have a few pictures that turned out incredibly from the weekend that I might post here.

I think the Taylor brothers are getting some karma back. Two unfortunate events in a row.
The BMW M6... After being confirmed as a total failure racing program and decided that this machine will be replaced by the M8 for the next season, the M6 wakes up and cleans Watkins Glen and Mosport easy peasy. Ironic to say the least.
