He didn't win, but I wouldn't even say that one was a giveaway, at least compared to the restart flubs. Kyle did have somewhat fresher tires (and in NASCAR, according to everyone in it, even one lap is considered an advantage) and it's Dover, where if you put you car where it doesn't want to go it will bite back. Kyle'd been yo-yoing all day, and he hit the upswing at the best possible moment. When he pulled his stuff off after the race, he looked like hell, if he'd made one mistake (or one more than he did) he might not have done it.Find it hard to believe that the 24 would ever be referred to as an inferior car unless there was an issue with who had older tires, as this was not the case. Maybe you didnt watch the race. But you can read this board and pretty much everyone here with the exception of the guy blaming Newman saw him give away yet another race
All this talk about Chase, but what stuck with me is that Kyle didn't touch Chase, gave him room to work with, and even gave praise in the post-race. I know he's not the Grade A 🤬 he used to be, but that's still quite different form.
