Nope. It was a flat tire that spoiled it. Good finish but could've been even better.I just don't want to see a caution spoil this battle to the end, like it did at the Brickyard.

That doesn't bother me, since it was his strategy to stay out forever on tires at a track that is notorious for eating tires. It was cool to see him try it, even though it failed.Nope. It was a flat tire that spoiled it. Good finish but could've been even better.

Pretty stupid situation for JGR and Suárez. Guess Subway was just too stuck up for him to even interact with other breakfast items.
Hoping Dunkin' Donuts steps up to fill the sponsorship; pretty good opportunity for them at the moment.
Calling right now: Dale Jr ain't making the chase. I honestly feel like at this point, he's just ready to be done with this stuff for good. I'm under the impression the championship is nowhere a concern for him right now.

He was done the moment he crashed out at Daytona in July. He just hasn't been the same performance-wise ever since he came back.Calling right now: Dale Jr ain't making the chase. So handing out donuts gets a Suarez terminated as a pitch man but the same company had a guy they knew was a pedophile for years be their pitch man and were fine with it until it all came crashing down and Jared Fogle got charged with multiple sex crimes. Great logic, Subway.
And people wonder why they think of public relations so poorly.Check out @bobpockrasss Tweet:

Has anybody been able to find the clip? Seems it's been deleted from NBC's Facebook and all I've been able to find elsewhere is this screengrab.
I can kind of see their point, but considering there was only 1 race left in the contract it seemingly would have been better from a PR standpoint to just finish the contract and not renew it.
Both Hamlin's Darlington wins last weekend encumbered. Something about the rear suspension on the Cup Car and Xfinity car. No elaboration. Will lose his Crew Chief for 2 races.
I'm sure they will have serial numbers branded/laser cut/stamped on the engine blocks somewhere. If there's no extra penalties for using more engines, it'll be for naught. Like the idea though, how do they police it?
My biggest fascination with this rule is how much will the teams tune down the power in an attempt to guarantee the durability?
