Just because it has red, yellow and white, does not make it fresh and saying it carries elements from all the other Shell designs. Boring.
And they shouldn't.I wonder if its possible to do double duty like NASCAR. Main drivers run in both.
Yeah, no bueno. The darker red looks good but colour me underwhelmed, again.
I'm thinking Simona might get that TOTAL livery.I'd like to see them take the livery from the #24 GT-R at Bathurst and transfer it to Caruso's car for the season.

I hated that design. Every time I saw it, I wanted to clean the oily smear off my screen.I'd like to see them take the livery from the #24 GT-R at Bathurst and transfer it to Caruso's car for the season.
I think you're in the minority.I hated that design. Every time I saw it, I wanted to clean the oily smear off my screen.
I was hoping for something like the DTM livery. Subtle pinstripes. Something different to the 25° angled lettering, which has been standard since the Australian V8 Supercars Championship.Take away the Oil graphic on the side of the GTR and it would've been fantastic.
I do like the new DJRTP paint scheme as they've kept it simple like the last two years. It's definitely just an evolution of last years livery but it still works well, even though I was hoping for something maybe different. I was thinking that maybe this year they'd have a slightly more technical design, as for the last couple of years, I think the reason the design was so simple was so that could be easily adapted to different colours for different brands. But they've obviously wanted to stick with the simple style that seems to be preferred across most of Penske's cars in other series as well.
I don't mind. To be honest, I never understood the love for Nissan as a marque. The Skyline never inspired any reaction from me; indeed, I think it's one of the most over-rated cars ever produced. As for the Altima, it always struck me as a car trying very hard to be as anonymous as possible, but not so anonymous that it stands out. It's the David Mitchell of the automotive world.I think you're in the minority.
Maybe due to the history of it here(there was none).I don't mind. To be honest, I never understood the love for Nissan as a marque. The graphic was one of the best parts.Take away the Oil graphic on the side of the GTR and it would've been fantastic.
It's basic, well built, reliable transportation for the A to B commute every day that gets great fuel mileage. They sell a ton of them here in the states. And the top trims are not terrible looking either. As for the Altima, it always struck me as a car trying very hard to be as anonymous as possible, but not so anonymous that it stands out. I disagree and I think you are missing the point. I doubt that anyone needs to be shown what oil looks like. Also, if you need to put a picture of the product on the car(such as the oil on the GT-R), you've failed at branding/marketing.
The graphic was one of the best parts.
I work with a guy that has a 3.5 SR Coupe with aftermarket suspension, 350Z NISMO wheels and Brembo brakes. It's a really nice car. Before I left the states, there was even an Altima Coupe.

Nice. That would look pretty dang close to a Skyline/G35/G37.I work with a guy that has a 3.5 SR Coupe with aftermarket suspension, 350Z NISMO wheels and Brembo brakes. It's a really nice car.
