So many ways to organise this.

But the Albert Park circuit isn't particularly suited to the cars of those categories.
I was under the assumption that gates would open far earlier for the Grand Prix. Each day for Clipsal started at about 8-8:30, and in previous years featured twilight races which finished at about 6:30pm. No wonder people don't really get on board with the event, it doesn't really have much going for it compared to your average Supercars event and if you compare it to the Supercars marquee events it's definitely really lacking. So if they opened up earlier they definitely could get longer races for the Supercars, personally I'd rather see a few more support events if I were a trackside spectator though.http://www.grandprix.com.au/track-schedule

Looks like a snoozefest to me
I wouldn't quite put it that way.Supercars runs 250km over the 4 races on the weekend. Evevn just running two like, 30 lap races over the weekend would be good if it were points paying.
The reason the races are pretty boring is because they're non-points. No one wants to really risk their cars for nothing.

My step-son captures the incident when we were at the 2012 AGP.
Yeah, I think Whincup speared Rick off track in '13 or '14, Bright got smashed at Turn 1, Ambrose got caught out in '15, Frosty and Coulthard last year. They do go hard. There's always exceptions.![]()
Is there a virtual lap video yet? We'll have some tracks in my area in a couple years that would work.

Negative. Is there a virtual lap video yet?
Negative.
I think there's a number of tracks in North America that would be amazing for Supercars. Road Atlanta, Barber, Mid Ohio, St Pete, Belle Isle, Toronto, Mosport, VIR, Watkins Glen, Long Beach, Leguna Seca, Sonoma (the full, proper version)....any of them would be amazing.
As far as the concerns over pit facilities, I don't think it would be an issue for Supercars. If NASCAR (Watkins Glen & Sonoma), Indycar, and IMSA can make the pit facilities work, I'm sure Supercars could figure it out. Their operations are small enough to pack into a sea-can for the Tasmanian and NZ rounds, it's not like they're a F1 style circus.
I could stomach the layout NASCAR uses, as long as they use the full Esses and the full final hairpin.I think Sonoma would be a great track granted they use the full layout.
i don't think its the most spectator friendly circuit around. That said, I know there are additional viewing areas along the back straight, between turns 9 & 10. There's also the marina, I think people can watch from boats if the boats are big enough, not sure how much I a view they get though. And then there's several buildings that people watch from balconies.I watched the PWC races from St Pete last night, aside from pit straight, where's the crowd? Cant see much outside the track with the camera angles,

Awesome work! Do you have a page or website for this stuff?
“We haven’t forced the discussion about fitting it around the frame because we haven’t got near to a position where the GT-R is an option.
“At the moment I’d be sticking with a traditional sedan and I think Nismo would like us to stick with that too.
“GT-R they see as a GT racing car and that’s where they’d like to see it stay.”
