Aaren Rusell will has finalised a deal with LDM, that will see him compete in all three endurance races, not just Bathurst.

Hopefully the orange wheels stick around. Looks great.

When will we see more retro liveries? If any?
I'd imagine so. PRA are yet to confirm which livery of three Mostert will use. Garry Rogers has always liked th idea of a retro round so I'd imagine we'll see one from GRM. Also Michael Caruso posted of a pic of his helmet on the roof of his car the other week, the car had a livery different to his typical one, but you could hardly see a thing, so that might be a retro livery of some sort.

It'll all pick up pace in the week leading up to the race.

Media coverage of unveilings plants the seed in the enthusiast's head while it's fresh & hopefully gets you buying tickets.

Just make TCM the top Motorsport category.
Ugh, no. I love touring cars, but only when they stay within the confines of the stock bodywork. This whole widebody thing is meh to me.

Edit: Confused it with TCR.

For us in Australia TCM doesn't have wide bodies, however the Trans AM series does which sometimes runs with TCM to bolster fields. I agree the cars look a lot better in closer to stock form and really wish they would have frozen the year of eligibility at around 1972, then there'd be no need to upgrade the older cars, that had virtually no aero, to compete with the newer more aero effective cars.

To me this just looks silly and ruins a beautiful car.

Maybe there is something there, with the new guy(Stephen Lester) having dealings with Infiniti.

Comments at the bottom, bring a good point with SuperUtes. However, talking about the car line up, Infinti aren't strong here. The Q50( 3.0TT ) or Q70 V6, would be the perfect car moving forward in motorsport. The GT-R is, straight up, a GT car. No need to have that involved with Supercars, while there is a perfectly good performance sedan being sold here.

Nissan would be very brave to enter the GT-R against the new hunchback Holden.

If they beat it, big deal who cares?
If they lose, they finish 2nd or worse to a family car.

They really shouldn't stoop so low with their halo model.

I seriously doubt a single Altima was sold because Mr.Buyer had seen one on track or, watched one go around somewhere on the telly.

This new bloke is a former Infiniti guy so, new boss = new direction.

If he has to have Nissans racing in AUS, throw some coin at a team for the new Ute series & promote the Navara.

IMO, anything else is madness.

The SuperUte direction would work. Nissan also need to be involved from grassroots motor sport. Micra Cup should have happened here. 370Z should have been in production racing and should be in GT4 here.

Toyota are smart with the 86 Series. In Malaysia, Gazoo Racing do a One Make with a little sport sedan.

So, I do hope he pushes for the future of motor sport. Big heritage here with the brand. Especially with Nissan's Nismo models officially being sold.

Cue the puns. Holdworth's "Old vs New" livery for Sandown.

The Preston Hire Racing Retro Livery will stand out as a “Old Vs New” take on the Sandown Event, with Holdsworth’s Commodore taking on the historic name and colour of Preston Erection.

Previously named Preston Erection from 1969 until 2001 and brandished in pink when servicing the Sydney Metro area, Preston Hire are giving the Supercars audience a look into their early beginnings before political correctness kicked in.

They raided Caruso's wheel bank, while he's away for tyre testing. Yeah, shame about the numbers.
