Tottenham's first game at their new stadium wont be until September 15th v Liverpool.

Weird news of the day is Griezmann going on French TV for half an hour earlier tonight saying that his is staying at Atletico and not moving to Barcelona.

Apparently its was pre-recorded and he filmed two different outcomes with the other one obviously saying he was leaving, he told Movistar which one to show an hour before it aired.

Does he think he is Messi or Ronaldo or something?! , it makes out that he is a bit of an Arse.

Deschamps asked (told) him to make up his mind before their campaign started. He wants full attention for Les Blues and not some Spanish squabble in his coq squad.

The fact that there is more excitement about cricket in the Scottish media this week is a national disgrace :(
Can you clarify why?
I could guess but I've only glanced through the thread quickly and wouldn't want to guess wrongly.

There was a funny interview this week where, to avoid any awkward questions from foreign media, all questions had to be in French. Some Spanish journo whipped out his phone and got a Google translate to do a text-to-speech into the microphone directly asking if he is moving to Barcelona.

France's press officer was not amused and refused to acknowledge the question.

Never liked a brown kit. Think its a weird colour for a footy kit

West Ham have signed French U21 defender Issa Diop from Toulouse for £25 million.

Another Mendes player has joined Wolves and this one is a bit of a cracker as its Portugal's number 1 Rui Patricio, he was one of the players caught up in the contract dispute at Lisbon so had his contract terminated, would have cost £18 million otherwise.

UEFA's decision on FFP sanctions for AC Milan is due by the end of this weekend. Reports have surfaced that they are likely to be banned from Europe next season and possibly the following season as well.

Leicester have signed James Maddison from Norwich for £24 million.

Lukasz Fabianski has left Swansea to join West Ham for £7 million, he was a fantastic player for us and our player of the year for last season, thanks for everything Lukasz! 👍

Juventus have signed Emre Can. He becomes the first ever Juve player with a release clause; 50 million Euros and only at the start of his 3rd season to non-Italian teams.

Nainggolan has announced that he will be leaving Roma for Inter and it was not his decision.

Reports say that today's UEFA decision will be a 1 year ban of European football and a €30m fine for AC Milan.

Buffon is rumored to be signing with PSG on a two year deal next week.

It's going to be weird seeing Buffon wearing a non-Juve kit.

Hours after being excluded from European competition and fined €30m, AC Milan bring in Alen Halilovic from Hamburg for a medical.

edit: 9 days after being hired by Sporting CP, Sinisa Mihajlovic was fired. Among the reasons were the President who hired him being voted out and his change of pre-season location costing the team €300,000.

Wilshere has agreed to terms with Fenerbahce.

This one makes no sense whatsoever, for both parties. If this does indeed happen, then it may be one of the most bizarre transfers ever, although admittedly there are a lot of challengers to this particular title.
