Just starting to feel spots of rain in the air.
Can’t tell if you’re joking
This race usually blows.
when did Ricciardo went from 5th to 13th?
oh yes of course...Giovinazzi just got 10 sec for spinning Kubica
Max is on a towbar behind Lewis. Incredible to see.
Not joking. Y'all are just too pessimistic.
Lol I hope you’re right and this turns into a cracker. Tbh I’m already in 500 mode lol. Probably not giving this race enough of a chance
The Tesla Hyperlight signage just before the tunnel looks terrible. Looks like it was cut out of an old magazine and pasted to that bridge.
It looks like it belongs in the mid 2000s. Definitely out of place.
Hamilton on the wrong tyres being pushed to burning them by Verstappen who needs to get past because he has a penalty.
A midfield which is close and in an odd order.
The threat of rain.
You don't need overtaking to have a good race, just cars very close and stories developing.
This is exactly the same situation as Monaco 1992 with Senna and Mansell, which is loved by many as a legendary race. But no, in negative 2019 forums we have to complain it's boring...
Really intriguing slow motion race now.
I guess it is working then.
Oh snap Karun just mentions Senna/Mansell '92!
Rare moments. A dry race on Monaco and there's excitement.
Where's the rain?
On Hamilton's brow
Early pit stop didn't work for Renault and Magnussen.
Can someone call Lewis and tell him to drive a bit faster?
I'm hoping Bottas can keep it under 5 seconds..
Why should he? He has to go this slow to keep his tyres alive, and its keeping the cars together, ergo giving Max a chance.
Lewis' tires looks terrible....I can't see those lasting to the end
EDIT: OK Grosjean just made the Soft tire last 51 laps....Lewis should be able to manage the medium I would think
It could be Vettel's win!
He’s got to pit soon. Even the rears are starting to blister.
Holy crap does HAM need tyres! I can see the inner part of the front tyres starting to separate from the sidewall.
Edit: I just noticed that this is actually a pretty tight race. The Top 4 are seperated by ~4.5 seconds, with Max having a 5 second penalty, a 20 second delta in the pits, and Hamilton running on tyres that'll either scream in agony to the end or eventually burst. This really could be anybody's race.
If Lewis makes it to the end on those tires, he'll deserve this win.
They look absolutely knackered.
if Lewis pits, he'll definitely be throwing away this win
A safety Car would ruin the end to this race, unless it's caused by Ham and Ves.
Not a single radio message from Vettel.
