- Circuit Gilles Villeneuve

- Endurance races

- Lancia Delta S4

- Porsche 992 GT3 RS

- Porsche 963 or Toyota GT-ONE

- Mercedes 190 EVO 2

Pretty self explanatory. There are no excuses not to add a new track - the community has waited long enough. With upcoming competition from FM. PD need to step up their game, both with content & features, starting with the long promised endurance events.

A new prototype is much needed, could be the 963 which is due in multiple upcoming titles. Or a classic like the GT-ONE.

A new rally car is due. I believe only the Celica has been added as DLC. The 205 & Quattro need more rivals.

There’s been no shortage of Porsche’s but we do need a current 911. While the 190 has been known about for some time. Again, a great rival for the RS500, E30 M3, R32 GT-R.

If the update is lacking, which is often a personal thing, you can sign me up to the belief PD are winding down GT7. Gearing up for a PS5 (Pro) GT8 much sooner than many expected.

I miss Delta S4 so much, just thinking that we don't have good rally physics in GT7 and the numbers of rally tracks are also not increasing either, it leaves me even more skeptical.

PD doesn't care about Forza , i do eye roll at people who think they do 😆
PD are a wholly owned subsidiary of Sony Interactive Entertainment. Every conceivable aspect of the Gran Turismo franchise, be it release platforms, content/licenses, release strategy, even movies & merchandise, has to be signed off by higher ups. PD dance to the tune of SIE's marketing department, which is very much focused on market share, tackling the competition, and promoting new hardware like PSVR2.

There will be a day when Kaz is not the studio head, in fact the next GT could well be his last with hands on control. With or without Kaz, SIE's plans for the future of the franchise will already be laid out.

So yeah, I do eye roll at people who think PD & Kaz don't have responsibilities to SIE and the wider Sony group.

I'm not even sure rallying is a major factor in the return of such cars. Sure, it's the obvious place to use them. But personally I always run them on tracks. They're also a great canvas for livery creators. Without going off topic too much, I'd be happy if PD focused on tarmac rally stages. Or even some of the tight and twisty circuits seen in older GT's. Heck, the Goodwood Hillclimb would also be a great option as a wide range of cars can set competitive times. We've seen how Time Trials are becoming increasingly popular.

Psvr 2: race info slide added to the HuD stack

A track

A couple gr3/gr4 cars because the movie will naturally pull new comers, and seasoned racers, from other games for a while, and they want to race the cars just seen in the movie.

A sophy event because …movie.. also because this will offset some of the childish behavior plaguing the daily's lately.

According to the mainterance is no update, most of time when their is an update we have that noticed in mainterance notice, and kaz would proably showed silhouttes in last weekend witch didin’t happen, thats also proably why they are dripfeeding the gr corolla to today to make up for a new update

We need to be honest and set expectations, they have been clear that Himedic and corolla GR will be available on late september so that means next update should come between september 20-28th, now I really expect new features considering it would be around 60 days between updates, content I will try to keep it real and think is going to be 3-4 cars and probably a track

The one part I don't understand is why exactly an update would be needed to make the HiMedic and the GR Corolla available for purchase in Brand Central. I mean, aren't these cars already in the game? Weren't they already teased in the silhouettes and shown in the trailer? I see a lot of people using this as a strong argument that the next content update will arrive on late September, but I really don't see how this is related.

Also, two content updates in a month is a rarity: remember the SF19 update in the GT Sport days?

Is not required from a technical perspective but can be use to artificially boost the content for next update

Correct that time it was similar, we didn't get an update on October 2018 and the November one was released in the first week of the month (with Catalunya, the 2008 Super GT roster, the Zonda R among other cars). Then in april 2019 they released 2 updates and got back to the usual last week of the month timeframe for the updates (that also brough the first reduction with 5 cars or less per update and not monthly track as happened on the first year of GT sport updates)

What is that, a Carbon E7?

I don't miss the race info panel. I could probably drive without the HUD, car/driver names, and maybe the MFD. The only one that's interactive is the MFD.
I'm starting to pick my ride based on what it has in the VR model. The 787b shows you how many liters of fuel is left. The Living Legend and the GR Corolla have G force gauges. The 1999 GT-R 500 even has a clock! Most of the road cars have a gas gauge and a clock. All the Ferraris have useful stuff on the dash, same for the Porsches I've drove though I miss the speedometer in the 917k. In others, like the '18 Camaro, there are marks on the tach that give me a reference point for the power band.

I wish there was an option to add the leaderboard and a speedometer to the VR display, I would use them sometimes, but others I just wanna go cruise, and it's cheaper to run my PS5 than it is the rather powerful Ford in my driveway. Plus if I crash in the game, I just hit reset. If I crash IRL, this Ford might be in a thousand pieces.
