Not for me. I didn't like them when they were a Ford team the first time, I didn't like them when they were a GM/Holden team, so it will be very easy for me to continue to dislike them :sly:

First thing I thought too... plus it would be a bit of a tease for Craig Lowndes.
True. They always seemed crook-ked to me. When I found out they were the same Triple 8 from BTCC I was like 'No wonder'.

I just liked Lowndes though. He reminded of Scott Pruett.

 Yeah, I was pretty much the same.

I don't mind CL either. My wife on the other hand, hates his guts over the split with Natalie.

My wife the same with the other stuff going on after that. :scared:

However, when we saw him at the first Newcastle race, my wife chatted with him and Simona so my daughter could be in a pick with them.

Couple of silly season moves. Hill to BJR, which wasn't overly surprising and Golding to BRT.

Looks at this stage that Fullwood might be out of a seat altogether? Feels harsh to me as there is a solid argument to be made he's been the one the major brightspot for BJR in the back half of the season. He will be a sort after co-driver, along with Percat if the rumors of him being given the push are correct.

Same.

Have to say this is a real surprise. Think Jaxon has shown some growth this year, it's just that he hasn't had the best of luck (or any really).

It’s a shame that Jaxon is leaving BJR but I’m not surprised, the team changing over to the Toyota is prompting the reshuffle of the drivers.

Unless the forecast changes in the next few days. Looks like it's going to be a dry weekend.

Hopefully the race is not as dull as last years was. 😬

Rest of the week going to be low 30s for me in Newwie. That's good it'll be cooler on the mountain.

i just hope we get back to having a great race. Which i'm afraid to say, i have high doubts it won't change from the previous 2 years. I hope i am wrong.

Things could get spicy with the amount of Bathurst rookies on the grid this year.

Yeah, it's a perplexing from MSR. Honestly Le Brocq and whoever they get in the second car, isn't going to be much of an upgrade over what they had with Percat and Hill.

And with how ruthless T8 have been in the past in changing co-drivers. I could see Pye possibly being moved on and Percat replacing him.

I'm hoping the race will be better if they get the Ford on pace with this barometric pressure testing. There should be quite a few pairings good enough to win then. Of course T8 are against any changes  (and this is why I'll never like them), but luckily they have no say this time.

He's a GM man through and through and despises anything Ford related, so while it would be good for him (and I'd like to see how he goes in a top team) I doubt he'll do it. He's running out of teams he can actually co-drive for now, which is a shame.

I'll be honest, I did forget about that. Probably explains why (along with other reasons) why he hated his time at WAU so much. And it ruins my other thought of a possible reunion with BJR or replacing Dale Wood at Grove.

Tough start to the weekend for Mostert, big hit into the tyre barrier at Griffins Bend.

Didn’t seem too bad. Plus, no flames or car flipping. All good. Thank God it’s Friday. ;)

Yeah, as fast that impact was. The tire wall seems to have done it's job. Damage doesn't seem too bad on the #25.

Obviously early days but man, the #2 is looking pretty damn speedy.

Love Larko but can we please stop with the Red vs Blue nonsense. Red has nothing too do with Chevs, does it? I associate yellow or silver with Chevs racing program. Toyota is going to confuse him next year given the Gazoo colors are black and red.

I always got confused in Australia because it’s the Blue Oval, but I’d see Mustangs in Red. The Chevy Bowtie is yellow, but I’d see racing Camaros and Chevrolets for that matter, in blue.
In the USA it’s pretty clear cut with white and/or blue associated with Ford. When I got to Australia, Holden are the red army, but one of the most famous Australian race cars is a red Mustang.

Anyway, one of the craziest things I had a think about was if Honda joined V8s. The Prelude wouldn’t look too far off the Gen2 Mustang in shape.

Annnd about Qualifying…. Wow!

Six cars separated by 0.97 in quali. Absolute insanity. Shootout should be something special.

Still want to see it in a proper livery but it is growing on me fast. And the noise. 😍

0.097 😲
Oops. Yes, that's more like it. 😅

Again should be an entertaining shootout. The race maybe less so. Just because it still seems like the Ford's will have a hard time making passes with the slight straight line deficiency.
