For example you could use an old Fiat 500, give him aero mods so it looks just stupid enough, you know the big black spoiler on that tiny car and, just like me, green matte color with red shiny BBS rims. That looks so much Lemons like.

I would take just premium cars but then try to make them look as stupid and idiotic as possible. ultra negative chamber, super low ride, strange colors, big black spoilers and so on.

I am totally down. This would be great. You could def do 24 hours if you had multiple rooms going and had people comming in and out at a schedule. That gives you the "multiple drivers." Or you could simply leave the room open for 24 hours and just hope people come and go. As long as everyone here knows the date at least you could somewhat assure no random d*bags come in and ruin the fun.

A GT5 Lemons series would be awesome! I'm not sure that I could commit to a full 24 hours as real life tends to get in the way of my GT5 time. But a series of 2-4hr races on a range of tracks could be fun.

Rather than BHP limits I would prefer cash limits (maybe +/-$20,000 excluding non performance mods like wheels and paint) so you could get a greater range of cars of cars.

An Event Generator would allow this. So PD, please let us have one in a future update.

Wow, forget about gt5 for a minute we need this in britain, if we did as soon as I was 17 (or old enough to race) I would get some mates together and for £200 each could have such a laugh.

Maybe a 60,000cr limit? And all cars should look stupid! I might make a fiat 500 with raised suspension and full camber!

Nah I would be thinking more 15,000cr limit, for 60,000 you could actually get something decent which would get rid of the point.

True, however most premium starter cars are around 20,000, I was thinking more 25,000cr - 30,000cr. Actually that brings me an idea. Maybe groups based on cost. So there could be 10-20 thousand, 20-30 thousand races and so on.

I might crazy tune a Mazda AUTOZAM.

We have some stuff like it, I know theres a beat-ups rally as some family friends do it. But I think its more of a European thing than a Biritish thing, might be just UK though.

Sorry for double post

But better ways to do it would be power/weight ratio.

Or maybe original power/weight ratio but it would be harder to enforce.

Nothing over 190BHP or so and have groups of 50BHP. Leaves you with 4 classes (1-50/51-100/101-150/151-190)

210 BHP from 32 BHP :nervous:

Thing is with all the Mods and I do mean every tuning Item its way over Budget :grumpy:

But a great laugh to Drive up to 112MPH :dopey:

How much did that set you back full mod? Also my Cuore with every mod only made it from 69 to 180BHP. But the power/weight ratio is to die for, accompanied with the short wheel base its a god of a K car.

So, different lobbies for each class?
Also should cap how much can be spent on mods, that way you can keep it close. You will also know that if someone is obviously using the wrong car.
In each class you would need to have at least one or two people being Marshalls to keep an eye for such things. Especially if you really wanted to do it for 24 hours.

capping money spent just isnt easy to do though, you never know what 20k turbo someones snuck under the hood.

I knew someone was going to say this :P I'de totally do it.. but what car...? Hhmm...

Will there be some kind of restriction for cylinders or engine power? Just so that there's no disadvantage or whatever.

Hmm... a price or power-to-weight cap has been suggested, with varying caps for different races.

Also i think few would want to race the 24h, I'd probaly do about 2h.

NO no no... so 24 Hour Le Mans is a road car race... no -

I just said we were trying to get a lemons race going. We are just taking the idea of racing rust buckets, aka lemons. It isn't 24 hours, and it isn't on the Le Mans track. If you don't want to join us, then don't.

Hahaham great Idea.

Just for kicks, a mate and I raced the Nurburgring Nordschleife 24hr layout in the dark, and in the rain, in... go-karts!

Someone has probably done this already around here, but in case you haven't tried, I challenge you to find the first corner! We both gave up after five minutes of trying - it is really that dark! 👍

I found it! (and actually completed one lap in a NASCAR)

How about restrict the cars to all level 0?

im liking where this thread is going... how about you just restrict price of cars to... say, 10,000 or 15,000 credits or something? i mean the real lemons you have to buy a car for 500 bucks, so it would make sense to make the main criteria in GT based on money too... and then youd have to do comfort tires only... if someone decides to get a race going, count me in!
