Great job hitting 300+ mph guys, I see multiple people posting pics but none posting tunes. Kind of odd since it is the "tuning forum". Anyone care to share how to hit 300+ mph?
There's not much need for sharing settings when you can just use a stock suspension and LSD without any difference in speed. The only real settings we'd be sharing is transmission and it'd be easy to find your own gearing that works similarly if not even better.

New speeds:

There's plenty more that can do 300, I just don't have enough credits

I actually got a NASCAR Stock Car to go over 300 MPH at Daytona, but I didn't take a picture of it yet. I hope I can get on the replay and get the picture of it because I think it may glitch where I can't get the photo of it. IDK. I tried to review the replay one time and the screen just went blank.

Are you talking about solo time? Even if your not talking solo time there is no way a NASCAR will hit 300 Mph at Daytona not enough track to do it.

I don't see it going much higher than that

Been trying out a few new cars, some which get very close to 300 like the R34's, and some already over... I'll update later once I'm finished.

I suggest another "non listed" car in the previous posts ... Bugatti Veyron '09 :dopey::lol:

I think i'm doing it wrong in my supra rz 97. Its just running 289mph. tried diffrent suspension settings but nothing works for me, Im just losing miles on it. But, I'll try stock suspension.. :(

How much power is in your Supra? I used the midrange turbo when I gave it a shot earlier and reached 301mph on my very first attempt, that may be all that's holding you back 👍

Nice! Almost all your cars are running 300+mph.. too bad i can just run 389mph with 944bhp... :(
389 mph! ;) Haha. Personally, I used the stage 3 turbo for my Supra, but I'm sure with the right gearing either will get you past 300 mph. Just keep tweaking it and I'm sure you'll get it.

Move the top speed as far up as you can move it, then lower the final drive.
I did. Even when I left it at 311 mph, it barely got there, then when I lowered the final gear it went up to 315 mph but not more. Same with the SRT Viper ACR.

The issue with the Bugatti is the 200 rear downforce that makes the front lift, making it impossible to steer at 300+. Even in my 355 mph run it was just luck that I kept it straight enough to hit that speed. Here's the best setup I've used so far that has good stability and a high top speed (~325 mph).

Fully tuned, all parts.

Suspension (F/R): Ride Height, 50/70 (everything else left at default)
Transmission: Max Speed, 311; Final Gear, 2.250
Drivetrain: LSD, default; Torque-Distributing Diff, 10:90 (so little power is lost from front end lift)

Power: N20, 50%

Body: Ballast weight, 200kg; Ballast Position, -50

Specs: ~1324 hp; 1606 kg; F/R Weight, 52:48

When you do your test run, hit N20 at the 2800m marker.
Hope this helps

Thank you!

@spsajewski I'm curious as to how you got the YellowBird to 300, I could only do 298 with a fair bit of gear tuning and a long run up.
I did it after something like three laps trying to build up speed and get the best run up to the hill and it only did 300 mph for moments. It might have even been due to the engine breaking in a little bit. Spent a good hour just barely moving the final gear until I thought it was pulling well enough.

I was thinking if I could hit 300mph with out hitting nos or with the downhill part of the course, i always run on the other side of the track and get a boost of speed on the u turn section. :banghead:

Also @spsajewski you forgot to list my GT-R Concept '01 in the first post.

There's plenty more 3000GT/GTO's as well as the rest of the Vipers that can reach 300, but I can't be bothered doing them all :P

My bad, I'll get them on the list soon. I always assumed that the duplicates or near duplicates could do 300 mph, just figured by having one on the list, it would be enough to know that all of them can do it.

I just have a habit of trying them all because they sometimes have different power outputs, like all the Vipers seem to. I'll try not to fill the next post with 982734 GTO speeds though

Seems that the R34 Skylines refuse to go over 300mph, I can't get past 298 with the Vspec II Nur... I'll find another new car soon hopefully :dopey:

Did you tune the transmission at all? It makes no sense that that should be happening.
Yes, like I said, the car cuts out it's power, and I forgot to add that at 230mph when all this happens the rear spoiler goes into air brake mode as well, in real life the car is meant to do this unless you have a key to unlock it's limit, and this is mentioned in the car bio, but it seems I am the only one with this problem, but whatever I don't really use the car anyway...

Austin1, try this.
