Can I borrow someones 2J please? Thanks.

I did it with the FERRARI 330P4 RACE CAR - 640pp - quite easy, first place at the beginnin of the 4th lap, but could do better, it's not my fav. track

The F1 Race Car from the OCD (or UCD, can't remember) worked well

I'm going to give it a go with my new ride...

It'll walk it though... '92 Mazda Autozam AZ-1. Let's see how I go

Edit: Needs about half a thousand more horsepower

Mclaren F1 Race Car...pass #1 halfway lap 2...

then cruise till the end :)

The 1 currently in OCD right?

Yes sir.

After doing the challenge twice, I got a average laptime of 1.15/1.16 depending on traffic.

2J just came up in the used car dealership and I'm 1.5m short because I just bought a 908 HDi.. Damn! hopefully I can pull the cash together before it goes. If i get it and anyone needs a loaner to finish it it's all yours

Can't you cash in some Bob's? (that is my savings account)

EDIT: If it just pop'd up, you can do max 5 races before it disappears. But you only need to do 2 times the 650pp challenge to cash your 1.5m :)

Or 1 time Spa B Spec. $4mil.

R35 TC - Didn't change anything on it.
Got 1st place in the last round, had a heavy crash though, too.

GT-R R35 TC will do it with no problems

GT-R R-35 TC would be easy as hell, maybe better than the 2J now that I think about it. I did it with the Audi R-8 Team playstation and it was easy as hell. Blew past them before I was finished with lap 2.

Oh and btw, Tommy Kaira ZZ-II is the car you get from golding license B. Easiest way I know of to get it. That one isn't too hard to do with a little patience.

So for all many suggestions above...only works for people with DLC pack... 👎

Having done the race with both the 2J and the GT-R R35 TC, the 2J is the easiest. Though the R35 might be my favorite car in this whole game; such beautiful handling.

I'm gonna put it out there that you could do this with most reasonable cars. I just managed third in the 650PP event with a Honda Integra Type-R that doesn't make much more than 400PP. The corners is the place to make up all your time, so go for a nimble car.

What grade tires is everyone using on this course?

Ford Mark IV and the 2J. The Ford turns in very nicely, its 624PP and makes for a good race.

if one can do the race without mistakes, something around the 600-610pp with RH tyres will do perfectly, albeit with 2 and something laps of chasing to do

In one try, I challenged myself to win this race using a "Normal" car, as opposed to a race car. So I took my tuned McLaren F1 and put Racing Hards on it. I managed to win by about three to six seconds over the leading Nissan 350Z Concept race car. I had to downtune its power to about 90% of its 700+ horsepower. Still, it's one of the rare accomplishments for me- win a race against race cars using a "Normal" car.

I was looking for a proper thread on the latest A-Spec challenges to post this. But since there isn't one, I decided I'd post on this one regarding the Madrid event.

2J is a bulldozer in this event.

agree 👍
even 2.03 update, you upgrade to high rpm turbo then power it down to fit 650pp, still easy win

I'm trying to do it with the Panoz Esperante GT-1 on RS. Car's a handful, but fast, I just need to be consistent, I'll get it.

Edit: Turned down top end of the transmission about three notches, and the fact that the BMW M3 GTR wasn't in the race, took lead start of lap 3.

Man that McLaren is tough... I managed to get on his bumper at the end of lap five but couldn't get around him with me in the Furai. I'm not sure if it was the McLaren or the Viper up front when I was running the Zonda R.

I did it with the N24 on RS tires at 690 HP (639 PP). Won by 00.887 seconds.

Peugot 905 LM car is quite nimble. Just go stock turbo, and detune to 650pp, and it's allowedl. Turns very well, and my first run with it I pulled a 2nd. Seems nimble enough that I think if I lower the final gear ratio low enough to get quick acceleration out of the turns, it should get the job done.

I lost the 2J :(

But after slaving bob for 8m an hour... It popped up!

This car is perfect on this track. On my first time around, after a few shaky laps I beat my time with the Furai by 6 seconds, without even pushing the car too hard.

If anyone can't do this track and needs a 2J for it you can get in contact with me and I'll loan you mine. It's already tuned to 650PP and setup, should make 1:10 laptimes easy as pie... Or less
