R35 TC - Didn't change anything on it.
Got 1st place in the last round, had a heavy crash though, too.

^That's what I used.
It was way to easy, when I checked afterwards it was on Racing Softs
Won by 13 seconds.

I used a fully tuned Aventador with aero kits. I can't believe that it can keep up with the BMW McLaren F1 GTR despite the Lambo being 10 PP less than the maximum PP of 650.

AI cars generally won't be tuned to maximum PP.

GT one is great if a bit twitchy (obviously needs a de-tune) but as many have said the 2J does it very easily.

That's pretty odd. I also tried the R390 Racer, average lap 1:18-1:19 (fastest 1:17 something), but couldn't take the lead before lap 4 at least. Are you sure you are not mistaken? You start pretty much behind the leader in this one...

Anyway, if anyone needs a 2J, I will have mine for share as well. PSN cedpo

It depends on the grid. On some races you face a relatively slow Team Oreca Viper, which doesn't take much effort to chase down. On others you face a McLaren F1 GTR, which is not so easy to catch.

Drive something you can control while going fast!

My personal preference is either DLC car GTR R35 TC or the new Aventador (with aerokits) fully tuned w/racing soft tires detuned to 650PP... both should be relatively easy wins with laps in the 1:15 range; you should take the lead on 4th lap and run away in the 5th.

Thank you for the excellent set-up for the Furai. I never thought I would ever use this car for anything. The win at Madrid was a cakewalk with your set-up. I changed the top speed to 168 and that was the only change. I had been fighting this one for several days with many of my favorite cars. Never even crossed my mind about the Chapparal.
I really don't like the Madrid track. I must have run close to 100 laps in practice to try and get it into my head. With the Furai and your set-up you could win this one without ever having driven the track. Excellent and thank you again.

I'm the same way. The only way I can actually enjoy this track in a 600+ PP car is to turn the racing line and suggested gear back on. Maybe it's my eyes, but I have a difficult time judging distance and hitting brake and turn points in fast cars on the city courses.

No problem Racin, glad to help out. Furai is really great on any really tight track like this that makes most cars feel unwieldy.

2J will run 1:11's without much issue. Furai high 1:16's, GTR V-Spec in the 1:18's. Tuned down LMP's 1:17 to high 1:16's or so. All the generic JGTC's will probably hit in the 1:17 to 1:18ish range.

Those are fairly low stress times, i.e. driving cautiously to prevent mistakes. 2J puts down the quickest times, especially if you can keep it out of that weak zone in first gear (at low revs it doesn't have a lot of torque). Putting on a high RPM turbo and turning the power down actually helps this low end acceleration a lot, and the rest of it's acceleration is similar or slightly quicker.

I did it easily with the 330 P4 Ferrari. The car has less PP and HP than the rest of the field, but blows past them like they were Fiats. The thing is a beast and fun to drive. And it's only 20M Cr.

I won with my Corvette C5-R at 635 PP and RH tires. I overtook the leading Oreca Viper in turn 1 of the last lap and ended up about 3 or 4 seconds up front. Can't say it was easy, but it wasn't hard either. I don't think I would have won if the McLaren had been in the grid though.

Took me a little while but finally done it in a de-tuned furai

Its worth saying that the opponents sometimes are really hard, zonda LM, Bmw GTR, & FGT All manage to get about 15s infront & makes it quite hard to catch up on lap 4.

Stock Aventador with racing suspension (adjusted ride height and camber only) and racing mediums. I'm sure I could have done it with racing hards, but I haven't tried yet, since I passed it on the first try. I went with one step better tires than the AI, since they were in race cars. I took the lead at the middle of lap 4, so I think racing mediums are too much. It is around 590pp after the oil change.

Pretty big gap between an easy configuration and a hard one. If something like the Zonda LM is out front, I think you'll need to run 1:20's or better (not easy on R/H!) With a slow car in front, you can get by with 1:23's.

Did it in Oreca Viper on RH @ 638pp. No assists, abs 1. Zonda was in pole. Did it on 3rd try i think (not counting couple of restarts because of spins). Overtook it on last lap in that loop corner. Won by 1.5 secs. Lap times were 1:21 on first lap and 1:19:xxx the rest. This was my first time driving that viper, what a great car. If only it would be premium id definitely do some endurances with it (i like doing them in the interior view, and blacked out crap doesn't do it for me).

Won with Zonda, McLaren but best car to win that I used was the GT-R R35 TC easy handling car my best lap was 1:1789 using pad! I really want a G27 have already taken my passanger seat out of my track car lol. Is a truly good challange for sure :-).
