Got the C60 down to a 3:17.5xx, again no performance parts added and only using TC=1, ABS=1. I'm now running the front stiffer than the rear; still a little instability but it's far better. There's probably 4-5 seconds there for the taking, but I'm just not accurate enough with a DS3 through the Porsche curves and the fast sweeps down to the Ford chicane. Many a good lap has been blown there, and many hours spent trying!

Another 45 minutes, down to a 3:14.29, 3050 or so, I think.
This one is kicking my butt. Wanted to try and get into the top 1000....not gonna happen. 905B feels odd to me, pushes a bit too much, then snaps loose suddenly. Have the brakes at ABS 3 and 6-1 bias, still does it, but less.

I tried several of the gear box settings listed here, but the car is sluggish on the bottom if they offer traction and it also hurts entry steering when downshifting with taller 2nd, 3rd and 4th gears.

Top speed seems to be about 238 mph for me, with the best of them. Slower with some, but never faster.

Hi everyone... 👍

Great tune! I didn't think I would get gold on this one, my best was 3:18 after about 50 laps tried this tune and had a 3:14 in 3 laps! Amazing! Going to see how far I can push it now. Thanks sw_10!!

Me too, But in a couple hours i know the track, For this, Gold cant be so hard?? Try the Pesca or the LM. Or other the 2J. Or you just want gold with a outside car?
I want gold with a 700pp car that like.

Reset gears to default
Set final gear at 3.500 before changing anything else
thanks mate. :-)

I'm with you on the tricks for transmission set up. I can't figure out why folks use an initial final gear then change everything and reset the final gear. It works but it's too complicated for me.

I use a calculation to determine tire diameter based Max Speed, Max RPM, Top Gear ratio and Final Drive Ratio. Reset the transmission to Default to clear any changes and get the correct top gear and final drive ratios for any Max. Speed. Then you can calculate the tire diameter and use it to calculate the expected actual MPH or KPH in each gear including the final gear. The actual results on a long straight are spot on. The differences usually occur in top gear if you can't pull the max revs due to aerodynamic drag.

You can check this on any track with a long straight like the Special Stage Route X. For example, with the Peugeot set to 298 MPH the speeds in gear 1-5 are fine since you are pulling 12,500 rpm but in 6th, aerodynamic drag reduces this to about 11,000 to so you'll end up in the 260 MPH range. That is with the F/R wings at their lowest angle.

With Wing angle at the maximum, you still get the same speed in gear 1-5 it just takes longer. For 6th gear, the drag is so high you can't turn much more than 10,000 so you end up at 246 MPH.

For the Peugeot at Le Mans I used a 246 MPH default setting, then reset gears 1-3 to the lowest ratio (highest speed for that gear and then spaced out 4 & 5 based on the graph illustration to keep the spacing consistent. Sometimes I'll lower the top gear (not final drive) to get a few extra MPH in top gear without slowing the acceleration.
Awesome cool I'll give them a go. I ended up with a 3:14.4 I'm not sure I can get any faster than that. As usual how those guys at the top are getting less than 3 minutes, it's not possible...

I try the top car(LM) But that car .... I dont know, I cant make a 1:07 with it. I really think the 2J is the fastest here. Come on aliens and took the 2J out the garage!
Maybe because I'm not a very good driver in corners and breaking? But the 2J feels better for me.

I gonna make a 3:05 lap I think.

K,i can not hand 2J it is horrified,905B evo1 is it,24h 2J is good 💡
Now i use t500rs

Edit.3.08.605

Haven't played since last weekend, finally did it with the 905B today! I will try to upload a replay video of it later on to help those who still hasn't golded it yet.

I know, But with some training i think a good driver is faster with it. I'm lucky that i know this car(its my favorite).
That france rocket feeling to slow for me, In the corners its a bit faster but i like my 2J:cheers:
I am in the top 5 2J ranking with this event, I think. With a perfect lap from a alien i still think this is the fastest car.

The 2J seems faster in the turns and puts down the power better, but it's WAY slower in all the high speed sections.

I thought the 2J be the faster car too but you be surpise the time it loses after all the strights

A little more time invested, down to a 3.12.2xx....about 1900 or so.

Only change I made was stiffer rear spring for added steering, brakes to 5/0 and higher ABS to 5. Allowed me to drive a bit harder without spinning out from DS3 over braking by .0003 inch on the thimble. lol

There's more there if I get bored again. :)

Not sure why you are not getting any more likes for sharing a top 10 setup.

Thanks for sharing, I will give it a try this evening,

One would normally think that a more recent car will outrun an old one. With that logic, am a bit surprised that the Peugeot 908 does not seem to be among the top cars in this tt, even though everyone was talking about the 905. Does anyone have much luck with the 908?

@praiano63 tune for Peugeot 905B Evo 1 Bis LM '92 with some adjustments. Same as I ran at the Eiffel custom track 700pp Seasonal Event some time ago. Got the fastest time that who didn't use the 2X.

Achieved gold here within 10 laps, 3:14.9 I think. Most laps before that one were red. I was using Racing Hard tyres. Didn't realise Racing Soft were allowed until I checked the fastest time at that point.

Ran again and after less than 10 laps was down to 3:10.563 which is currently 126th. But the event has only been up for 1 day. That time might stay in top 1,000 but more likely towards the 2,000 mark.

At least there is some natural light. And no flickery shadows. Ask what tune @coryclifford is using, smashing time 4 seconds faster than me!
Haveyou seen the 2:55 top time? How is that even possible?

Legitimately, it's not.

After seeing nothing is new in GT6 today, I went in to try and get in the top 1,000.

I tried Mateus settings, but couldn't drive it with so much rear brake and made so many changes I ended up with only his gear box and after some tweaks to that, improved my time. It felt like it would be a great wheel set up maybe?

I made 2nd, 3rd and 4th taller, to control wheel spin. I also increased the final drive to 2.242. I lowered downforce considerably to 570/775 and gained a couple mph on the straights.

Springs stiffer in back to add on power steering(DS3), 14.46.
Shocks comp 1/2
Ext 1/3
Toe to ,08/,12
LSD to 6/14/8
I also moved the ballast forward to 28.

Even though his time smokes mine, I still ran a better time of my own improving to 3.10.287 for P 657 :)

We'll see what tomorrow brings.

Nice lap. Kinda surprised that the computer didn't get you there at the end before the last set of chicanes.

Great tune! I didn't think I would get gold on this one, my best was 3:18 after about 50 laps tried this tune and had a 3:14 in 3 laps! Amazing! Going to see how far I can push it now. Thanks sw_10!!

Thanks buddy.... your setup shaved 5 secondsso far. Tyvm for sharing 3:20.652 to a 3:15.218.

Finally did it, 3:14.580 in the C60 Hybride. :D

No performance parts, no oil change, only RS tyres added. ABS=1, TC=1, everything else off. A sloppy lap, with a couple of errors but I'm not going to fry my nerves shooting for the 3:12.xxx that it could probably manage.
