787B vs. R390 Race car

Me and a friend are curious, which one do you guys think is better? We dont have the R390 yet so we cant really compare.

I think the 787B is one of the best cars in the entire game. It is hard to beat.

I agree i am able to get better times with the 787b than the R390 although it seems like everyone else has the opposite thing.

R390 Race Car...the 787B would be so much better with a 6th gear in it. The GT-One Race car is arguable the best non F1 car in the game to me.

The R390. It doesn't have the loose backend that the older 787B has.

The R390 is better than the 787b, the R390 has the advantage of that extra gear and if setup right can have better speed or acceleration and be at least equl in the other area, the 787b is a great car but loses out to the TS020 GT-One and the R390.

I like the 787B better. It has a better engine sound, and is more unique in its looks than the R390. I don't have the R390 Race Car yet, so maybe I'll change my mind.

Well when i got my 787B from Like the wind i then used it to beat the dream car championship and got my first F1 car so I am stoked.

The 787B. While the tail end can be a bit deceiving sometimes it adds challenge to it. The R390 is so... tasteless, where's the fun?

R390 GT1 hands down....even the fastest GT3 players in the world like this car better than the 787B, they use the Toyo and the Nissan over the Mazda. If you want a good set up for the R390 just PM me, I'll give you one of the best in the world.

That's a tough call as both are amazing cars. I think the R390 may be SLIGHTLY better, but I still like the 787B more.

The 787B is the better car for me because it has a unique engine sound and great acceleration. But frankly, it could not compare to the TS020 GT-ONE's top speed. Still I like both cars

The R290 is better for me. I like the 787B in real life and all but in ts a bit of a dog to drive for me (maybe I just cant set it up right )....

R390 all the way (prolly the best non F1 car).

No it wouldn't, at the end of the day when set up right the R390 will always beat the 787B, besides the 787B is 1 gear short of the R390 so speed and acceleration are on the R390's side all the way.

It's really easy to back this argument up with the GT3Times database. Pick any track and select the three top cars. You'll see that the top times by all their members are coming from the R390. The GT-One shows up a few times then further down the list you'll start getting the 787B.

I believe, however, that if you use the cars in stock (unaltered) form the 787B is the fastest. Is this correct?
