Well just ran another 16 laps. At lap 10 the tires did start to fall off a bit with the left rear going away the fastest. On the long sweeper coming to the front strait I was braking the rear loose on the last couple laps along with stretching out my braking point on all corners the last few laps. Lost about 3 sec a lap by the end with the car being a bit of a handful but controllable.
Man its so tough trying to anticipate when people will take the inside or out when over taking or letting someone pass. I few times i blocked or hit someone by accident when trying to over take or let someone pass...not a fan of this track either...my car was so twitchy i was sliding everywhere...
well that was a bit of a mess. Who ever got punted strait into the barrier on the first chicane sorry for ramming you. It's hard to know when someone else is going to brake. You know what your braking points are but not everyone else.
Also that was probably one of the worst first turns to have with it being so tight.
I went with soft tires and it killed me. I went through them much faster in the race then I did in practice. With two laps to go I couldn't hardly keep it on the track and figured I would just get out of everyones way and get off the track.
Still had fun and thanks for letting me in on it. i hope to do better in the next race.
That first pile up was a cluster. Found myself taking the grass/sand a few laps later to avoid another pile up. Not sure what the etiquette is but it was easy to figure out what to do when it was my teammate I was going to affect.
Would have saved replay had I seen Timber's post first.
LOL.... yeah, that first chicane was a mess...... I figured starting first I could avoid all the traffic..... wrong! I had my foot glued to my brake pedal and my car got pushed head on into that barricade, I went from pole to last place before the first turn!
The only thing that bothered me was when someone would run off track and instead of waiting til it was clear, they just ran right back on and into my car, that happed to me twice on the first lap.
@ skip... sorry you didn't have a good time, we are all fairly new at this and are just out to have fun. I don't think anyone was intentionally blocking you, I've noticed some of the guys using controller are kind of all over the track, that's almost unavoidable.

I use a controller and dont feel I was all over the place. It is a challenge at times. I am not sure some of it may be lag from playing online. i know I see some people all over the place but maintaining good speed. I would think there would be no way to go that fast being all over the place.
For the most part it was pretty clean for me. I was going for a pass on someone going into the second chicane with a good drive down the strait and feeling like I could out brake most people. i thought wrong and playing in the 3rd party view I could see he was still inside me so I had no choice but to go headon into the barrier. my biggest fail was taking the lead going around the outside two cars in the last turn then throwing it into the sand right afterwords.
like I said still had fun and it was much better then doing the little 3-5 lap races online.
I dont think anybody rammed me at all but the red F40 , you know who you are, shouldnt block like that on lap 2. I think I can tell the difference between someone being all over the place and someone matchihg me move for move down a mile long stretch . Im new at this too but I know what having respect is and if someone is that much faster I wouldnt weave back and forth to keep him back there. Id feel like a real idiot if I did. I guess for some people if you host the race your supposed to win and not get passed by faster cars. You block the track back and forth back and forth until you wreck us both. I guess thats the only way you get to race online is have your own party, cause you would get kicked out of most of the rooms online the way you race. I think everybody else tried to give room, held their line in traffic, and didnt block someone way faster than you. Just the F40. If thats the only way you can win I feel bad for you cause winning in that way is no fun. Look at Robby Gordon s career. He gets no respect or acknowledgement for his only win because what he did to win it. To everyone else, good race and sorry I exited early. Anyone on here want to race a clean respectful driver , please add me . To the guy in the Ferrari , dont bother.

Sorry were not all professionals like you. We are all new to this including myself and if I did cut you off it was not intentional and I do apologize. Just like the many times I got knocked off the track I know it wasn't intentional and im not out here complaining to all the people that pushed me off the track. Were all new/amateurs and the first corner showed it. These things are gonna happen at this level of racing so if you cant deal with it im going to politely ask you to find a more professional series that matches your needs. Has for your claims of me doing this to "win" and saying this is the only way I can "win" well then maybe you should check the standings. I came 5th and far from 1st place. I was just out there doing laps trying to have a good time and improving my skills just like everyone else is. If your going to be in this series you need to accept the fact that everyone on here is new/amateur and things like this are going to happen so accept it, don't whine about it and give each other tips on how to improve, but most of all have fun. We are all about being a chilled out series not taking everything so seriously but yet have some fun with some competition. So once again if I did cut off, ram or make any amateur mistakes like everyone else did I apologize to you guys. As for you skip good luck to you on your future races hope you find a series that suites your needs has this one isn't for you.

quick questions for Francone, are you against the Chrome Line cars. I kinda wanna try out my M3 for the next race, i may decide against it and remake my 09 GT-R.From what I can tell the chrome line is just a paint job and came with some parts on it.

The Super Leggera is great. I can run comparable times with my NSX-R LM Road Car or the Ferrari, but neither are as forgiving as the Super Leggera, if it starts to get loose you can catch it, unlike the other two.

skylines are quite popular, a few pages back i wrote a list of the cars im not using (because of personal preference) but in the list are some good contenders that some people are using.
