So after watching that, is there anyone not getting this game with VR?

As much as this has given me good reason I should get one (And I really do want it now), I sorta can't get it at the moment with VR.

If Namco buddying up with Nintendo meant that AC7 was eventually ported to the Switch, and Nintendo went ahead with the cheap VR novelty accessory, then I'd give it a try. But I'm not buying PSVR and I'm still going to play the game from the exterior camera.

is it already confirmed VR will work in all modes with this game??

most games just have a small section for the game in VR,.....

then i do not give a **** about VR,.... only when we will have full support in games i will get that,,... i doubt it will happen this generation... :(

The full interview that they link to in that statement doesn't say anything about VR being limited to a certain segment of the game. So unless they know something we don't, and didn't feel like sharing the source of that knowledge, then the extend of VR implementation in AC7 is still entirely speculative.

I'm just so annoyed at how unprofessional Project Aces and Namco are about their communication. There's zero reason for this to still be an unknown quantity, yet all we have are vague and conflicting articles.

Hm. Is this game perhaps going to detail the birth of the ENSI/COFFIN technology found in ACO3: Electrosphere?

It is regardless interesting to see the game go back to that level of plane pornography. Sure, the following chapters of the series were great, but they never cared as much as ACO3 did, in a weird and very Japanese way, about the technical details.

P.S: can't wait to unleash the eventual Macros Missile Massacres with those graphics!

Can. Not. Wait. Just give me an Su-47 Berkut and I'll be shooting down bogeys left and right.

The last Ace Combat title I played was AC6 on the 360, loved that game very much just like loved the heck out of AC3, AC4 and AC5 too. But for me, AC Assault Horizon just didn't do it. I played the demo and simply wasn't interested. The Dog Fighting felt strange which was a deal breaker.

My hope for AC7 is that goes back to it's roots and recaptures the feeling of the older games. I could care less about Helicopters, I just want good dog fighting battles and a good story line.

Well, it is going back to the strangereal universe, and from what I can see in the trailers, no helicopter flying here. I very much doubt it'll be anything like Assault Horizon was (which is a good thing) :)

Am I the only person that likes the more realistic believable missions over the fantasy?
I like the fantasy missions as its something new/challenging, If ace combat just did realistic missions it would be boring as all hell since most of the missions would be the same and it'd feel like Arma.

I've played every single Ace Combat game except for 6 and if i dont get my tunnel flying mission I'll be mad, AC5 had the best mix between fantasy and normal missions.
