Did you get a tracking number?

I got the shipping confirmation but no tracking number. I suspect it would save a lof of time on the support side if they did ship tracking number :)

Yes I got a tracking number. Should arrive tomorrow as its not far from where I live now. Ace!

I was expecting mid-December.

Got the wheel but the G25 adapter isn't there so I can't use it. I bought the Pure edition and its supposed to come with it. I've contacted Fanatec about it.

Pleasant suprise was that i get my wheel today so that means i was sent with "UPS airmail" (i did not know this :) So good job fanatec in this matter:tup:

Got mine, arrived in the UK today.
Like others it annoys me why Fanatec fail in certain areas.
I cant believe if things have been overlooked again particulary with the delays this product has had.

Exactly to the day I waited 6 months for mine.

The presentation of the box is lovelly, a great product as we know but hold on...

Perhaps it is Thomas but i can tell you folk here that:

Instructions
G25 Pedal Adapter
X360 Pedal Adapter
Wireless Dongle (also ordered)

ARE NOT!

Why is it so hard for this company to ship with the goods what was advertised and ordered? Also are instructions not important to customers?

Frustrating!

I also did not receive the G25 adapter (although it's on the order form), or the Microsoft Pedal Adapter (was promised).

;)

You can buy g25 pedal adapter from computer electronics seller.

EDIT: I Was wrong normal ps/2 ->serial adapter won't work.

That's not really the point. We shouldn't have to buy anything. The G25 Pedal Adapter is on the order form. It's just not in the box.

I emailed Thomas about it, and he said he would send one out ASAP. We'll see how that goes.

;)

I got the wheel and found out that there is molding error on pedals which makes gas be pressed a bit all the time. I will take pedals apart to see if anything can be done.

I also tested ps/2 -> serial adapter which i found from my stuff to test g25 pedals, but it did not work.

We have G25 adapters on hand and every Pure customer gets one. The RF dongles were not enough in the first container for all customers but will arrive with the second shipment.
After the second shipment arrives we have everything in stock.

I fixed now gas pedal but it was hell of a job to put those pedals together (i would not reccomend opening them) Looks like i also have to order g25 adapter when it comes available :(

I was lucky that I got mine soon and already had everything from the test wheel I received. Hopefully this will be the last time Fanatec lets people pre order a year ahead of time, or at least not make people pay up front with their pre order. It's crazy how out of control everything has gotten for them. Hopefully they have learned from the mistakes they made this time around, and the next time they have such a wanted product they hold off awhile before making announcements and shipments that go unfulfilled.

Can i benefit from firmware updates if i only use wheel with consoles? I would need to setup a dead zone for GT5 (gas pedal) and get rid of wheel shaking on the straights somehow.

I live in the USA, if I was to order a wheel in the next day or so is there any chance to get it by the 25th ?
Just wondering if it is only the XBOX Ver. of this wheel that has long shipping times or is it all of there models of wheels like the GT3 wheels and the Non-XBOX 911 wheels ?

I think Fanatec has now good supply of wheels to come but i would say that it is quite tight still to manage that date.

Hey Fanatec
Seems like you have bad shortage of G25 adapter as i still can not find it on the webshop. Could you release wiring diagram for it so that i can make one? (i have ps/2 ->serial cable)

Also if there is a guru on the forums that knows the wiring, please help me?

Thanks!

I finally received my wireless dongle a month after receiving the wheel, and now they won't sync.

Back to Fanatec support I go. :(

I loved their Xbox wheel, and I love this wheel, but even so... I just don't think I would ever order from them again.

If I find their product in a retail shop maybe, but never again directly.

Anyone know if you can change the mapping of up / down gear in Forza for the shifter?

It may seem strange to some, but it's much more natural to me to change into a higher gear by pulling back on the stick than pushing forward.

That is typically how a sequential would work... Is this not how the Fanatec sequential defaults?

Really?

I always found it odd that the sequential shifter on my DFP was - UP and + DOWN. Switching it to the opposite was always the first thing I did in any game.

That is actually the norm?

It just seems like weird logic.

Nearly all sequentials work opposite forza. The re Porsche is the only make i know to use this weird setup and fanatec is a porsche wheel.

Typical sequential shifters are operated by puling towards you to shift up, and pushing away to shift down.

I'm going to have to check this out. I'm hoping there is a way to change the button mapping in Forza 3.

I suppose worst comes to worst I can always open it and switch the inputs.

On a different note, seems I have a small issue with my clubsport pedals. Whilst the ABS function will vibrate the wheel, it doesn't seem to vibrate the pedal.
