Has there been any firmware updates since beta wheels? They have been however at least busy to give pc-players new features and game fixes with windows drivers.

No, there hasn't been any yet, but it is upgradable if they choose to do so.

I just got all the things for the wheel (g25 pedal adapter), i am must say this wheel rocks.I just tried it with F3 and the game just becomes something else. Hopefully i will make time tonight to test it with Rfactor and GT5p

Thats good to hear.

I'm still waiting for mine. Hope it's on its way. Been more than a week since Fanatec's email.

Really getting tired playing with the joypad.

No need to restart, there is a plenty of races, and it's nice to get 100% bonus.

My wheel arrived two or three weeks ago, along with rennstand and shifters, i was only missing adapter for g25 pedals. I have been playing lower classes with joy pad.

Question For You THOMAS!

Will the GT3RS via a frimware update be able to offer the "ABS & Drift" features?
Or will these features only be available on the PWTS?

Predict even more wow with rFactor if you use real feel or leos plug in. GT5P you may get some major issues with though :)

I only got the demo to play with and it went from did I like Forza 2 only because it was unique? Never played GT 4 or Forza or something to now I realize what I liked about Forza 2 :). It would really be nice with an update from Fanatec positive or negative about Forza 3 in their web shop. I tried mailing and posting in their forum http://www.porsche911turbowheel.de/?q=node/2783 about it but no reply yet.

Otherwise would be interesting with some teases of an ev clubsport shifter... I don´t know how I did it but I managed to break my SST Lightning shifter so could come in handy too.

As for GT 5 and all it´s suckiness this doesn´t look promising at all aids enabled or not... http://www.eurogamer.net/videos/gran-turismo-5-demo-gameplay

I received my Fanatec Turbo S Club Sport steering wheel/pedal/shifter set last week. It has been functioning fine, but the wheel base is defective.

From discussing with other Fanatec users, it appears my wheel is missing the metal pieces or threads that allow it to be bolted down to the Rennsport stand (which I also purchased). The base only has holes in the black plastic w/ nothing for the bolts to attach to.

Here are some pictures to illustrate the problem.

I've emailed Fanatec twice in the past week and still have not heard back.

I do not know what the missing pieces look like, but i'm wondering if it's going to be possible for Fanatec to mail me the missing parts and I can install them myself, or if i'm going to have to ship the whole unit back to Fanatec for repairs.

We can send you the missing screw inserts. I will make sure this pappens today

Unfortunatly an update is not possible so it will be an exclusive PWTS feature.

Fanatec: Is it possible in the near future to make the PWTS compatible with the ps2? The reason is that the new versions of the ps3 can't play ps2 games and I like rally games, there are several for ps2 but only Dirt 1 and 2 for the ps3 (sega rally isn't rally, imo).
The wheel is fantastic by the way. (Richard Burns Rally for the pc is great)

Ummmm...

It already is.

I just got DIRT 2 PC version and are having big issues. I have no idea if it´s related to the wheel or the game itself. Probably a combination.

It crashes just after the track is loaded and as soon as you are on the starting line generally. Only time I managed to do a race was with wheel disconnected just using keyboard but that may just been a coincidence of course.

Would be interesting to hear if the Turbo S work with it? The GT 3 RS worked great with the demo and there is a preset for the Fanatec wheels. Its registered and all.

Ps2 is not officially supported but I heard it workes fine if you use the USB cable

I just recieved my "Standard Pedals" (bought both the CSP's and Standard, for testing), and I was suprised to find only the pedal unit itself in the box. No cable to connect said pedals to the wheel itself. This seems like an oversight to me...

;)

And the steps to connect the wheel are the same as to connect a ps3?
-the wheel has to be in pc mode, then press at the same time "back" and "connect". (all this with the ps2 on, doesn't matter if it's the menu or already with a game on, right?)
I even bought a new usb cable but no luck. It works fine in PC mode.
...I'm starting to worry again, my ps3 is still being repaired, might have it back tonight or this friday, once I have it I'll try to connect the wheel and post here.

Now tried Dirt 2 with my GT 3 RS wheel the same issue? Game crashes when on the starting line. Start with just mouse/keyboard is fine. Has anyone got any of the Fanatec wheels working with the full version of DIRT 2 PC?

Did anyone else not get a cable with their pedals?

;)

I got a set of standard pedals in the mail day before yesterday.
No cable. Here' the interesting part though. I originally ordered the Turbo S
package that comes with the standard pedals a few months back.
A week later, I decided to change my order to the GT3RS Clubsport package.
So, Fanatec changed my order. I have a confirmation and everything.
I subsequently sold the GT3RS and Clubsports a few weeks ago.
But I got an e-mail last Friday, saying that order #**** was on it's way and would arrive within a week or so. So I checked my Fanatec account.
That order # was the same as the Turbo S order # that was cancelled.
So I thought to myself--hey--I may get a free Turbo S! :D

Well, turns out it was just the standard pedals...with no cable.
I don't even have a wheel to use them with now

It's not even funny now, really, the issues with Fanatec.
I really feel badly for them :(

mine gt3rs is working fine, except it lost force feedback once so I had to quit the game

Fanatec :When can i expect G25 adapter to be available in webshop? I have been waiting three weeks with my G25 pedals.

yes, i'm running 32bit xp at the moment. clubsport pedals. drivers are 1.02 and 9800M GT

I see... I can´t get it running. I tried the 1.00 drivers and attaching the clubsport pedals through usb, safe mode. Tried cutting the power to the wheel while loading a race. But no difference with the crash to desktop doing that either. It simply don´t like the wheel to be recognized really weird. This game pretty much officially support every wheel on the market so shouldn´t bea problem since the demo worked great as well

Fanatec: Is GT5:demo now sending all needed telemetry to wheel to calculate FFB in understeer and oversteer? Quite many people are still having hard time notice when car is sliding.

And i will no longer ask about g25 adapter as you clearly have no idea when you can match the demand on those. Keep trying though!
