Actually I am loosing 10-15 seconds of my laptime, I am hitting the lines better than I ever had. Plus my MPH is about 6-13 MPH lower in certain areas with my current vehicle.
Which one was your previous wheel (Im having hard time on choosing between the G27 and the new P911GT3RS V2)?
Teccboxx
sometimes you need to tighten the little allen key screw from underneth the pedals which hold the brass axle. If this axle is not moving or the magnet has a bad position it could be that you dont get the full travel. Please check if the magnet is moving fine under the sensor. Both clutch and gas must look identical.
that is easy: P911GT3RS V2![]()
Thanks that was it,
Plus I played some with the settings and I am now getting better laptimes than I did before.
Mars Attacks, I had a G25 until it crapped out on me. After only a hour with the wheel last night definatly go with the fanatec. I will post my actual impressions one I have some more time.
So a happy customer now are we???
Not really, I miss my g25 still
Actually I can't comment until I can get the wheel fully mounted in my cockpit, I didn't think about getting a USB extension cable, that six footer is way to short my fault/not fanatecs. So all I was able to do was pop it on my xcelerator wheel stand and move the ottaman closer to the tv/ps3. That is all my bad especially after the wait I should have got one.
The pedals are great, just need to get the tension a little better for my liking. The wheel is great, wish I could put my sparco wheel on it but I can get used to it.
Lastly, L1,L2,R1,R2, and the all four buttons still work on the controller when the wheel is plugged in. So I am going to tap off the controller for the handbrake, and possibly just pick up a frex shift+ for the sequential shifter depending on how well I like the fanatecs. I don't know if I want to wait for Fanatecs handbrake or cs shifter.

That's interesting that the buttons on the controller work... So what your going to solder a handbrake to the controller instead of the wheel??? I may do this myself as I did not know it was possible.
You need to wire the PS button as well because it only works if that controller is set as controller 1.Actually I have a axisadapter that I will use, no soldering required. Here is a pic of it below

The DS3 and SixAxis are very difficult to solder to. If you have a spare one and want to try go ahead, if you do not then it is not worth buying. Check out the Toodles Cthulhu PC/PS3 Board (they sell at lizardlick and they are trust-worthy) instead. That's interesting that the buttons on the controller work... Well it is tough to say that it will be absolutely worth it for you to spend the extra money but for me it is. The G27 wheel is pretty good but the FFB on the GT3RS is a lot smoother and the presets on the wheel are amazing to have. The pedals are good also but they feel a little uncomfortable when I use them and although they are stiff, they just do not feel as easy to modulate as the CSPs. The shifter on the G27 is terrible and I know a lot of people modify them but the way it comes stock, it feels like a complete toy. I may get used to it if I use it a lot but it is nearly useless as-is. The Fanatec shifter is loud but the way it feels is vastly better than the G27's.It’s not so simple… The P911GT3RS V2/CS+Shifter set, is no doubt a better wheel but costs for me 130 euro more than the G27!
So does it worth?
Except from that, the Fanatec wheels don’t seem to be flawless…
I can buy a G27 near by my house where I live. In case I’ll have a problem with it you can imagine how easy I can give it back or exchange it!
Do you have a Porsche wheel?
Does it worth the money difference and the insecurity?
If so I’m ready to buy one, but still I’m not sure…
If your standard pedals are defective you will get a discount for your CSPs. Just send this post to our e-support with regards from me.

And from what I've learned in those 5 minutes I was trying out Need For Speed world, it does not deserve a wheel controler. That thing drives like your car was on rails...weird stuff... Does it get different as you get better cars?
I've been using my GT3 RS V2 with iRacing the last few days and every day I like it a bit moreI just advanced into the next class and bought the Mustang. I think I've learned to handle the wheel's strength when car is on the limit. That is quite hard with high force feedback strength and drift mode turned off, but I think this is the most authentic experience and I love it.
Ordered a GT3 RS v2 on Wednesday, just waiting for it to be shipped now
According to the customer support it should go out tomorrow or Thursday, me and a friend ordered within a day of each other (his was ordered Tuesday), do Fanatec normally ship orders together if they're going to the same country (UK)?
Fingers crossed it will be shipped tomorrow!![]()
Ahhh the memories, I know your frustrations all to well. I would have expected the Fanatec/Endor over in europe would be better in the states. Especially the way to package everything. I mean they ship everythign seperatly so all they have to do is but a label on the box and ship it. Have you even got your invoice yet. Good luck but none the less it is worth the wait.
No, no invoice yet 👎
I know it'll be worth the wait, the frustrating bit is being told when it will be shipped, then the day comes and nothing![]()
