Your lucky day, I just happen to have my shipping boxes sitting here beside me. There on there way to the attic for storage.

Pedals shipping box
42cm high 25.5cm wide 42cm long
Box says 7.2kgs weight

Wheel shipping box
33.5cm high 33.5cm wide 33.5cm long
box says 5.4kgs

So I bought RS V2 wheel :D

the websites mentioned this.

Advanced PlayStation 3 compatibility (perfect for GT5)

Does that mean there was some calibration with PD and Fanatec?
Or it means... V2 works perfectly with PS3 so it should work perfectly with GT5.

Hey guys,

I seem to be having trouble using the clutch with my Turbo S wheel in GT5P.

I press triangle after it says start and nothing happens. I also tried holding down triangle until it says start and I still get nothing.

I recently upgraded the firmware to 669, would that have anything to do with these problems?

Clutch works just fine in RBR...

You press Triangle button on the Turbo S wheel itself right? Once you have the full control of the car, then press the button, if you press it once more it will turn it off. Make sure the car has a clutch, the GT-R for example will not have it, so use the STi or other clutch cars.

I hope you mean the inside of the boxes and not fancy outside graphics and such.

Cool looking outside, but inside its nicely packed. As well with RS wheel you get this thing..

Not my videos.

Gave the Viper's a try along with the STI's and the clutch won't engage. Would I need to use the H-pattern shifter?

Yes, the H shifter has to be plugged in. Otherwise GT5 will only read it as a Sequential.

Hi,

Has anyone experienced the loss of weight from the wheel?

I have noticed over the last few days that my Turbo S feels a lot lighter than it usually does, almost as if there is too much air in the tyres.

It’s either in my mind or I have developed stronger muscles in my arms

Any future Fanatec Carrera wheel owner should be expecting their wheels soon. I got an E-mail saying that Fanatec have sent out the order ect. they said that it should be here on Thursday but.... I doubt it, well just hope!

Yes! Sorry for answering late, playing LOADS of GT5:P. Great wheel for me as I'm inbetween sim-racer and casual racer. Would want a decent wheel but not reeaally dedicated.

Its great though Little noisy as I think I am disturbing the households sleep :)

That is why I went with GT3RS. :sly:

I have a problem with my new CS Pedals: almost every time I press the brake pedal and the acceleration pedal is not compressed, I noticed on GT5P that this also activates a 25% on the accelerator bar indicator. After this I must step 5-6 times on the acceleration pedal in order to get the 0%.
Should I ask for help to the Fanatec support :nervous: or is there any easy trick to solve this problem?

A! One more question: how do I start the vibrating motors on the wheel (which simulates the car’s engine vibration – I have the GT3RSV2CS)?

If you turn ABS to off then the wheel vibrating motors kick on, its like you have to pick between brake pedal vibration or steering wheel, not both. I hope theres a solution?

I have set the ABS function at 90% (the Shock function to 100%), so I suppose this is the reason the vibrators don't work when I press the accelerator...

Thanks for the tip:tup:

Q:
My brake pedal has some little input without pushing on the pedal. This problem is there since yesterday...
Now i got my new electric boards (brake vibration wasn't working) for the CSP today so that should solve the problem?

Just asking because i thought that i read somewhere about his problem here already.

PS: Support of fanatec is really great.

Had the same problem. Played with the dial on the brake pedal until problem went away. Just make sure you also have it set to have full input when fully pressed.
That dial is very easy to change, specially if you do not have a fixed set up.:nervous:

Hey guys, i´ve just tried the Carrera wheel and as this is my first time with this wheel i need some advice. How exactly that dead zone thing works? I tried GT Demo (That Eiger TT from 2006) and NFS Shift demo and in both games when i was going straight the wheel was wobbeling (i dont know if that is the right word :D ) So i tried some adjusting and it didnt seem to help. Also it seems that Fanatec forgot to include manual and that drilling paper because one of the small boxes inside the package was empty.

Hold that button on the left and press the 'SELECT' button.

It should show a little red dot in the screen of the wheel, meaning that you have it on PS3 mode.

Now Press the button that is on the right of the screen, go to dea, press up then keep pressing til you get your prefered setting (40 worked for me)

(P.S there is a NFS: Shift demo?)

Also it seems that Fanatec forgot to include manual and that drilling paper because one of the small boxes inside the package was empty.
It only came with a quick guide for me, use this Go on support>PS3, Carrera wheel
It should have the drilling template and the quick guide.

Hope I've helped

Thanks i will try it right away! Also just for the future..is it better to have that dead zone set higher or lower?
Yes there is a NFS Shift demo, it´s on the US store.
Any other tips? :)

Well for GT5:P or whatever, higher is best, so it eliminates shaking to a fuller extent.
No more tips I'm afraid, only played GT5:P. Unless if you ask I may be able to answer.

Well i am thinking of buying Prologue again so could you please write me your full setup? I am really new to theese wheels.. my last was DFP with GT4 so this is a bit of a step :)

I'm new aswell, lol...... all I did was left it how it was delivered to me and just added the 40 deadzone.

The clutch on Prologue and H-Shifter works well though, you will enjoy it.

(Are you considering buying any add-ons?)
