I think kimi123 said it quite well. Forza 4 looks only good in autovista and that other photo mode which btw is a complete rip off from photo travel lol. In gameplay much has not changed visually from 3 and with only 90 new cars and 5 new tracks I think it is hardly a large step over its predecessor.

That why you posted edited shots from GT5?

The things some of you grasp at, and you actually think it's clever.

Nice pics thought GT does look amazing, i know i have it too. But it is a really bad and boring game. Gameplay doesn't make clock tick. Framerate drops and that stupid rigid chase cam (Why hasn't this been patched?:ouch:) kills the whole game for me. 800 standard and i want too drive with chase cam....:grumpy: Paint chips etc etc.. It has potential but it still a terrible way too entertain yourself

Ps: the video i posted was the 'homespace' and its for all 530 cars. It looks as good as Autovista.

Forza 4 looks ten times than FM3 ingame. Gt5 is hardly a step forward from Gt5p Blocky shadows? Flickering shadows? Framerate drops...

I agree with your points but I have a feeling your post will be multi quoted with some GT "facts".

lol you think I dont know their edited....but the actual GT5 model is not edited at all. Highlights how Forza completely switch their models from photo mode and in game whereas in GT they dont COMPLETELY switch to different models.Oh its funny how you guys ignore the video which clearly shows better lighting and cockpit view....and its actual racing gameplay.

If you think GT5 doesn't switch models (your eagerness to mention "COMPLETELY" is irrelevant) when you're in photomode, or even better in photo travel I don't know what to tell you. And I don't need to acknowledge a video when I have the damn game.

And tell me, how does an edited photo highlight Forza switches anything, when in those photos the lighting...nay, everything is edited.

That's just profoundly stupid. :odd:

To GT6mebe....you DO realise that ALL of Forza 4s cars and tracks will be up to the same standards....whereas GT5s are all over the shop. You posted pics of a premium car on one of the better tracks....how about posting a picture of a standard car on Trial Mountain and tell us all it's better than Forza4? Also, see if you can get a good screen capture of the horrendous tearing GT5 suffers from because it can't do Vsync and keep the frame rate up.

GT5 DOES look good, but ONLY certain cars on certain tracks and even then there's graphical issues as screen tear and low res textures and low res reflections in the car.

They should remove the color effect on the paint when you crash. So weirdo to see the little cars being painted in white... some of them get half of their bodies in white while crashing... For damage, I'll keep my ridiculous, ugly and badly made GT5 damage. At least my cars doesn't change its colors when crashing...

The Fiesta @ 0:37 had some bottles of white paint on the front bumper perhaps? Then the M5 made all that mess with white paint. LOL

Well said.

Forza, the game designed with perm assists and designed for a game pad? Other then copying GT photo mode the game doesnt look any different the 4, yes I played the demo and have a 360. Forza is a good game, but its not a sim in the way GT is, its a game that tries to straddle the line between sim and arcade. It's physics, handling and attention to detail do not rival GT5. It has better customization yes, doesn't make it a better game. Never been that impressed by forza. Gt5 has issues to, but I'll choose the better driving game at the end of the day, that's the core of both these games.

good to see the forza trolls out, the game will not look the same in autovista mode as racing LMAO, no one can take anyone seriously when saying it will.

Looks funny imo. But i would still rather have this

Than this the clay mold damage from gt5, wich has no mechanical damage, no broken glass, etc etc.

The coliseum looks to be a bit more detailed, and the colors look more vivid.

And why am I discussing this in a manner that probably suggests I don't have the game?

And look at the tear on the lamppost's shadow; I've never seen tear in GT5 before.

Hmm, every console game suffers from these things, and yes forza will to. get a gaming PC to get rid of these things. Gt5 is inconsistent graphically yep, don't care it drives a lot better then forza. It also does 3d, which is the reason fro said issues.

I dont get your pc mention in this. If this is a console game why didnt PD optimize the game for the PS3? The advantage console games have over pc games is consistent hardware. So it seems the screen tearing and other glaring graphic issues should have been avoided in GT5 being that it is .... GT5 the holy grail of racing. BUT as seen in this thread and others on this site its not about graphics but the gameplay in GT5 right? No thats not correct either because it mostly looks better than any other racing game on any console (on the right track with a "premium" car).

Holy grail of racing or not, the PS3 hardware can only do so much, Forza is not doing 3d either.

Hahaha:lol: stop reaching i will dissapoint you every time..

It won't and doesn't.... nice try. I played the demo.......No one with an ounce of brains thinks the game in autovista where there is no racing will look as good while racing...

I guess this thread should be closed now. It has become a Forza vs GT thread and other that constant advertising of Forza 4 i dont see any benefit for this forum. Next time please move a thread like this to the appropiate section, namely the Forza subforum.

Uhhm... there are three pictures that will nullify your claims. Homespace vs gameplay... so..:)

Pics dont nulify anything, its' a tiny pic and you can see 1/10th of the car nor the background. I can see the game on my xbox, it doesnt look as good racing as autovista, that's fact. A pic at certain angles can look better, when you see the game in motion there is a major difference......... Play the game..
