Anyone play TDU2 anymore?

I returned to Ibiza to try to hunt for the Stratos wrecks after downloading the DLC1 update for PS3's TDU2. I want that doggone car in my collection. One of the greatest rally cars of all-time from a legendary marque like Lancia. I think there are eight Stratos Wrecks in Ibiza and 12 Charger (as in the 1970s Charger) Wrecks in Oahu (Hawaii). So I'll have some more things to be occupied with in playing TDU2.

Yeah, I read about it online and even had one of my PSN friends tell me he got the TDU2 update. DLC1 is out for the PS3 version of TDU2... about time! This deal is also supposed to offer hints of perhaps the dealers of motorcycles for TDU2. I do sort of wish some of the empty-looking dealerships (like the U.S. Cars dealer that has only the Charger and the Viper) have more stuff to offer in the shops.

I'm not playing TDU2 much right now, but when I get to spend more time with TDU2 again, I'll be sure to try to knock down all the Stratos Wrecks... or as many as possible.

What's in the new update BTW I only play this game of the houses they are lush and the hot cars just wish I had these pleasures in real life :tup

Sorry to read that. Lately, I haven't had much to be happy about or anything to really be playing this game more for. I am now under the mindset that this game could really be much better than what it is. I guess you can say that I am starting to believe all the nay-sayers about TDU2. I still love playing the game and going on casual drives, but I still think a lot could have been done to make this game truly magical.

My ps3 blu ray reader broke while playing test drive unlimited 2. i Try not to play it now. but i have every car and house

Tried playing TDU2 on the PC and it wasn't as smooth as on the PS3 and I have a reasonable PC too, it stutters and jumps badly, ah well, back to the PS3 version

I agree. TDU2 is always around. Enjoying Hawaii now but in no hurry to actually 'complete' the 'game'. I find it a virtual smorgasboard of automotive-lfestyle experences.
Always something to uncover. For example - ever challenged Oxythan (who drives that ancient CV) over and over? Took him 19 tries but he eventually beat me. And I was driving an Intergrale!
As you keep challenging him, the courses (and his antics to beat you) keep getting hilariously devious. LOL - yes, that punk . . ..

I love the garages, too; sometimes I'll drop TDU2 in for a quick look at my garages, and if there's nothing in there that I'm in the mood for, will drop into a dealer and pick a quick exotic and blast around futuristically on a couple of test drives.

This is a game with a marketable future that is sorely undeveloped by its makers. Paradise lost, Eden?

Just started up the game again to go through the new DLC stuff. It can be fun just cruising around the island sometimes. It's been long enough since the last time I played, I've lost my mastery of the cars' handling though. The Atom V8 is one sketchy mother! I just wish there was some way to own the Gumpert.

Did they add motorcycles to the game yet, i think those would be interesting to drive.

Motorcycles will be in the next DLC coming out sometime in February. Check out the official site for more info.

Might not be the best place to ask, but is this game worth it?
I'm actually going to complete NTG11 and NFS The Run and gonna trade them after that, and this game has intrigued me for some time now..

If the idea of being able to free-roam two massive islands with an excellent selection of cars and decent handling physics, all while other people from around the world are doing the same thing, sounds like fun, it's definitely worth it. As far as online traffic TDU2 is past its prime, but there was still a decent amount of other people cruising around yesterday. But even without online, the main game is pretty entertaining as far as arcade racers go. The addition of off-road racing was ingenious.

As the type of gamer that likes to sit back every now and then and pop in GTA4 or TDU2 (or even the Elder Scrolls) just to cruise and screw around at a leisurely pace, I'll never really tire of it. The fact that other real people are right there with you just makes it all the more enjoyable.

I see, I had TDU1 for the PS2, but I got bored quickly of it, due to this fact I never completed it. Having another people online cruising thru the city must kill some of the boredom? Or the game isn't boring at all?

If you can find a good cruising group, then it's very fun online. Also you'll often find groups of people hunting down all the wrecks, photo locations and race locations, so there's that too. 👍

Unfortunately all I've managed to find is kiddies trying to ram everyone they see. They're easy to shake off, even with a regular car, but they literally stalk you until their mother calls them for dinner. :dunce:

Actually that's nice. I'm currently updating NFS The Run (need to get to level 30 to get last trophy and unlock Platinum Trophy, I'm currently at level 29, so that's easy), and I might trade it on TDU2. NTG11 I'll trade in FIFA 12 or F1 11 (depending if I don't get any in my anniversary in May).

i like tdu2 alot i just did the cup glitch with ibiza's cup [had to remove updates] but now i have 50 cars and like 13 houses and still 20M do ill put 10 M into the casino [5M casino money] and do some driving buy the audi convert' for 1m casino money bur the DLC cars and try out my new CCXR i have friends on tdu2 but it does not show them in the friends tab though

I haven't been into TDU2 as much as I used to. People do still play it, but with most of the laziness and things that could have been made better regarding TDU2, I just can't really get to play the game any more with any real sense of enjoyment. Only time I really play TDU2 is if someone tells me to or wants me to. Either that, or if someone wanted to voice chat with me.

Oh, and I haven't found a single wreck for the Stratos or the classic Charger since downloading that update for TDU2.

I think some people unlocked wrecks after finding like 3 or 4 out of the 10 wrecks. Weird.
And John for every gold bomb event thing you complete, a question mark appears on the world map showing you where a wreck is. You spawn there and your metal detector will beep, do the rest yourself :D

You know, cruising in a A1 or A3 while listening to your music (I use Spotify). It makes you want to drive more & more.:)👍

Cruising music like Steely Dan, or whatever you find makes crusing in this game fun. It's better than the annoying in-game radio.:indiff:

Look what I scooped up in a Facebook wall post from TDU2's Facebook fan page:

Based on this material, will this get you back into TDU2 if you previously haven't played it in a while?

Nah, I deleted my save; there needs to be more championships in order to obtain cash otherwise I'm stuck for car choice. It's boring playing with the same cars having nothing to do but cruise because racing isn't exactly enjoyable in this game. I wish they fixed the physics and actually made the cars have a weight to them. Then I'd definitely play - wasting money on DLC when you'll stop playing in a week isn't a wise choice for me.

Still worth a shot. I heard there was a bug on PC where tire marks were pink. But that's PC, so who knows what will happen.:scared:
