Anyone play TDU2 anymore?

At long last, I finally left my Club. I even made sure to send a message to the President of the former club I was in and told him thanks for the opportunity. I am now either looking for a new club or take the challenge of starting my own. I'm now a "Free Agent," so to speak.
 
I picked up this game couple of weeks ago, and only level 18 so far, but if you guys start a club count me in too:)
 
TDU2 rocks. I'm trying to find all wrecks legit. I have a club 1 star so far (need just a little more XP to lvl it). My friends have been helpful. & if anybody wants a few wrecks add xNissan-240SX I bookmarked them. I own all cars (incept the Casino DLC cars) & (including DLC cars)
But the only bad thing is I REALLY need the TDU2 Casino DLC. But don't have enough money & don't want to get another card. And working on all houses So need help with the casino. But I'm a very active player & spent a week straight playing TDU2

Earlier this week, I won the A2 High Championship. All that remains is the A1 Championship, the A1 High Championship, and Hawaii Cup Area 2. I used some of my money in the game to buy a few more houses. I even traded one of my Hawaii houses for the Honolulu Loft. I even bought a house in west central Oahu around the British Cars dealer that offers Jaguars and Aston Martins. Learning Oahu, that's basically the Mililani(?) area of Oahu. All I need is five more houses to complete the Houses and Furniture Collection goals.
 
I saw this game in Best Buy for 20 bucks and bought it.

I currently have the Lotus Expirt, Ferarri 308, and a Golf GTI. I've beaten the C4 Champ, and I'm currently doing the A7 Championship.
 
A7 racing- the worst miles/kilometers you'll ever log in TDU2. Save your A7 car when you're done with the A7 Championship and A7 High Championship because you'll need that car again for the Ibiza Area 1 cup. Happy motoring.
 
Havent played for a bit (dam you Plants V's Zombies) but hoping to finish Ibiza this week.

I have tried to complete Ibiza before going to Hawaii only have one wreck all photo's and about 5% of the roads to go. I keep getting side tracked by the casino slots lol

Dam. I sold mine before the high championship, and rebought it, and now I have to buy it again?
 
Yep. A word of warning- do NOT sell whatever car you're using if you haven't completed all championship and/or cup events. I learned that the hard way when I had to buy another Alfa Romeo Brera (which I recommend for the A7). If you're into the PSN Trophy thing, one requires you have all purchaseable cars. Also, you want to enhance your Collection skills. Tough as it sounds, try not to sell off your cars unless you really are strapped for cash trying to get some of the better cars.

Having said this, I'm trying to rack up the [Deluxe] FRIM money to buy another Ariel Atom. Once I start getting a good deal more money, I may get started buying some American cars (like at the U.S. Cars South dealer) just to add to my collection and Collection skills. I still need to enhance my Discovery of Hawaii Area 1 so I can eventually be able to modify fully the cars that can be tuned at the European Tuner.
 
Since I mostly go alone, I'm not in any "need" for money, especially in a hurry. So I'm not wanting to be in a club or start one right now. I just mentioned the FRIM deal just because that's how I was trying to build up the money to get that car. I don't need a whole lot more to get it.

Ahhh. I must say, I really enjoy your posts. Anyway, back on topic, I really like this game, and must ask: why am I the only one with a Spyker Parking to Paris? (I misspelled that I think)

Because its ugly as hell. Weren't it you yesterday i sent flying by slamming into this spyker in my ferrari 599 gto at 220 mph? Lol that was funny:)
 
I learned something yesterday. With the servers down yesterday, I took on the AI opposition pretending to be real racers I can actually challenge. I won one of those races and got credit towards the Instant Challenge portion of the Competition skills. If I could, I could have focused solely on doing those Instant Challenges to build up the Competition skills and level up. Of course, since I didn't parlay any money, I didn't try to cheaply build up my money.

Now, though, the servers are fine. I bought my Ariel Atom and the Caterham to put my car count at 31. I even apparently got a 10% discount on cars just for reaching the 30-car goal. My ultimate goals are to do the Collection tasks for 15 houses and 50 cars. I may even just make up some Surgeries just to get that out of the way. I've done only one surgery as of this post.

Anyhow, I play this from time to time. I love the social part of the game, unfortunately no one wants to visit my house :lol:

If you're starting a club, count me in.
 
Awkward moment last night while I was cruising... I just bought a Ford Mustang GT in TDU2. As I was heading back to my mansion in Hawaii (Fall's House), I had overtook a Ferrari 458 Italia. Then later, I accidentally knocked him off the road. As I was trying to head back home, he AGGRESSIVELY tried to crash into me! I safely made it back to the mansion without getting hit by him. Then later, the guy sends me a message on PSN saying (indirect quote with improper spelling) "i dare u to hit me again if u dare." So I blocked the bastard after I accidentally hit him. I'm like... dang! Never realized accidentally hitting someone was fighting words. Good grief!


I'll need to buy another house (or exchange for a bigger one) if I want to be able to reach the 40-car goal. Oh... and thanks for freaking me out with that picture, Mark II Blit.
 
I still play the Poker tournament almost every weekend. BUt I havent touched the campaign in many months. I do cruise around once in a while to show off my Ken Gushi painted GT Mustang.
 
Yo, I've not played TDU2 in a while but I've always enjoyed playing it.
There was news of an update I'm sure about a couple of months ago..however I'm sure that there actually hasn't been an update. Was hoping that someone may know if there will be an update soon?
 
I've finished the game long time ago , played straight 1 month with it. When came out. was enjoyable cruising in Ibiza & Hawaii, but the car handling is terrible. Not GT5 or Forza its okay but need plus 2 years at least for the developers to make car handling realistic. Could be perfect game so.
 
No Veyron needed. With the exception of one crappy event, I won seven out of eight events in the A1 Championship using my Koenigsegg CCXR. I took the money and bought the Turtle Refuge house (far northern Hawaii) just to get my car capacity up a little more. I went ahead and bought some more cars, including... the Spyker D8 Peking-to-Paris, the Jaguar XKR (after trading it for a Viper I bought initially), and I finally got around to getting the Ginetta F400. I had planned on getting another F430 Scudaria or 458 Italia, but I didn't have enough money.

So all that remains for me on the racing front is the A1 High Championship and the Hawaii Area 2 cup. And according to what a friend told me, I'll have to expect to do another massively-long race around the island similar to the final race of the Ibiza Area 1 cup. I'll just worry about the A1 High for now.
 
I did it, I did it, I DID IT!!! I won the Hawaii Area 2 Cup! Except for the ranked multiplayer matches, all of the single-player race deals are complete. I knew it was going to be Hell on Earth to try to clear the final Hawaii Area 2 Cup races. I ended up completing and winning the final race with a time of 49:19.17 in my Koenigsegg CCXR. I spent a great deal of missing corners, crashing into AI traffic, rolling my car over after simply making jumps...

In a surreal sort of way, if I could... I'd do that Oahu Tour event again. As much as I fear racing on stupidly long courses, there's a real sense of accomplishment in this game to roar around Oahu going full speed in a super-fast A1 car. It was insane to do that event! And it's official- I LOVE the Ariel Atom 500 V8! Already painted the chassis of the car in my customary blue colors. Since the wheels are of a nice gold color, I have my own blue and gold racing machine! :) I do kind of wish I could keep the chassis in gold and just paint over most of the rest of the car in blue. Otherwise, I love my new car for winning the Hawaii Area 2 Cup.


If I can probably get to compete and win in Multiplayer Challenges, I'll be able to clear the Competition skills. For now, though... I'm just thinking about getting one more house to complete the Collection requirements for Houses and Furniture (I have 14 houses at present) skills. I then need nine more cars (at present) to complete the 50-car Collection goal. This is a GREAT game even with its glaring flaws. Thanks to everyone who chimed in and read my posts about my progress in this game.

Thanks, everyone! I can now mostly focus on getting more cars and houses. I have heard that you can get the Koenigsegg by winning every race in every Championship (you obviously have to win every Cup race, so I didn't mention winning Cups). Then again, I already have the CCXR. I still enjoy driving the Ariel Atom 500 V8. That is a VERY fun car. A lot more fun than the Ariel you can buy at the British Cars dealer it can be found in.
 
I got back to TDU2 earlier tonight. It was fun getting back into the Ariel Atom 500 V8. I finally completed the Houses and Furniture collection goals. All I need now is nine more cars to complete the Collection skills entirely. How much fun you really have in TDU2 depends on the servers acting straight. And really, it was great getting back to chatting and just cruising.

Yeah, I got on yesterday for the first time since late July and the servers were down. Typical. Didn't have any fun. :ouch:
