I eat them sliced, with peanut butter. I leave the skin on, but I scrape off the wax they cover the apples with.

I also eat oranges, tagerines, grapefruit, avocados (we have them as fruit trees), strawberries (I'm having some now), grapes, bananas, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries.

Every now and then I'll eat pineapple, cherries, watermelon, cantalope and kiwies.

Apple seeds have cyanide in them, but I guess if you like that kind of thing.....

I dont usually eat apples, but I love apple cider. At all times of the year.

Apple quartered, then the pips and hard bits cut out and voila. I dont like eating off the core. Hurts my teeth and my gums. And cutting it up give one a chance to see if there are any worms inside.

Back in the days of GTPlanet when there was a small number of us. In the smilies section the kiwi was unfortuanetly named the dodo. Due to some over exageration the kiwi is the dodo and visa-versa check out the DODO links in my signature.

Me too.

Apples are a marketing and PR success story. My understanding is that apples were not seen as "edible" until very recently. They were an ingredient, and were only eaten cooked, as in apple pie. But the apple industry wanted to sell more apples so slogans like "An apple a day keeps the doctor away" were devised, and a campaign to get people to eat raw apples was born. It obviously worked. The same is true for tomatoes.

I eat the apple right off the core. The real question is, which one of the many varieties of apples do we prefer? The Granny Smith, Fuji, Golden, McIntosh, Rome, Delicious, baking, Jonagold, Pink Lady, Gala, or Braeburn (my favorite).

I don't really like apples that much... I'd rather eat a banana or a plum.

Anyway, off the core, though now that I have braces again, I try to eat them sliced when possible.
