Arcade mode

I'm new to gt3. I've just completed Arcade mode on normal and was expecting to win some cars but all I got was a movie Should I have won any cars? Or do I still need to do something in the game to unlock them? Cheers!

There is plenty of threads about this topic, you should have searched (using the search button). Remember that for next time.

Its best to complete Arcade on the hard setting first and that will unlock everything. No need to start from easy and work your way up. The cars you unlock in Arcade dont pop up in SIM mode, they only allow you to use them in Arcade. (eg you dont win the cars, you just unlock them for use)

Welcome to GT Planet Pillers, VIP0ERGTSR01 is right, the cars you win are just for Arcade mode, however if you complete time attack mode, you will win the 2,000,000 Panoz for sim mode

I believe if you want to win the cars,you'll have to beat all the races in Hard mode.

Are you sure ?, I won some arcade races series and have the impression that I got some extra cars , unfortunately I didn't count them on day 1 when I started the game. Maybe a GT3 newbie could answer that point , at least newbies will be useful at something .I always thought that if you win a serie of races in intermediate level you get an extra car and if you win the same race serie in difficult level you get a better extra car , but I might be completely wrong .
What 's the purpose of the 3 cars icons at the beginning of each serie. they are black then some of them turn green ?

The only Prize car in Arcade mode is the Esperante, which you win for getting first place in all the Time Trials (Time Attacks)...

Winning at all the tracks in "Hard" Single Race mode merely opens up all the available Arcade Cars and Tracks.

don't you unlock some cars by beating normal and hard mode?
if you only run throught easy mode, you get the tracks and the ending movie A

Yes, you do unlock cars as you go along but only for arcade mode.

Famine just read your info on Arcade mode and found the following error.
"If you complete all Arcade Mode races at Hard, you are awarded a Panoz Esperante GTR-1 for use in your Sim (GT) Mode game. Or sell it - it's worth 500,000 sold."
Can you please edit the text to read " If you achieve gold levels in all 10 time trial tests in Arcade Mode you are awarded ........................."

My eyes are not that good, they couldn't see Sages free porn in his post in GT4 forum.

It actually took me about 6 months to work out that the missing 2% game completion was the Time Trials. Then another 6 months to actually beat TT10!
