Are you satisfied with the choice of the intro song, in GT5?

I actually heard their new song NANANNNANANANANANA off their new album, and its way better than what they have had before. And it seems they have lost the emoness.

How about Justin Bieber eh? Haha, I don't know why people hate on that kid but I don't listen to his music. But anyway I am excited to hear this new song. =D

Not all the premium cars have to be fast. There's nothing wrong with those being premiums. I'll have alot of fun in them that's for sure. The premium cars in GT5 seem to carry more weight from a historical and iconic standpoint, rather than speed. Kaz himself said GT5 is a serious attempt at digitally preserving automotive history. I believe GT5 is his first attempt at doing such a thing, GT6 will continue to build on this. This starts with the quality we see in the premium cars.

I would have liked the song from the E3 trailer where it had the planes flying through the air and revealing the nascar cars, but I'm not bothered aslong as i have the game in 2010 I'll be happy to listen to any music in the intro from who ever or what ever they are.

Yeah when I hear the name My Chemical Romance I still shiver of discomfort, and that will probably never change, but their new song is actually very good and I could really see something like this fit as a GT5 intro.

I think the people complaining are pathetic, we never herd the song..

oi

people need to have more open minds.

Dont complain about the song until we hear what they got in store.

Many Bands have CDs, and sometimes on that CD there is one song that is completely different then other songs band has to offer.

Heck for me I would love some Drum n Bass music or Trance music for the intro, but I am curious what the song will be about.

Agreed. At the same time, everyone has their own taste in music, and want to hear that style in an intro. Not everyone likes The Cardigans, or My Favorite Game, but I'd say that was one heck of an intro song along with the video for GT2. Same goes for Panama and Van Halen, but I think the intro for GT4 was the best one to date. People need to give it a chance, atleast listen to it when the song is released.

I don't specially like (or dislike) their music, but I'm more into slower but heavy guitars and grunty voice. I bet most people would like a choice fitting their own personal music preferences.

To judge if the result is good, you need to hear the song AND watch the intro of GT5 to see if the combination is a perfect match. I'll wait until then to comment on the final result.

Heres something better, why not just go with ORIGINAL MUSIC as with Tourist Trophy? I mean if there one thing I liked about TT when it came down to the choice of music was the fact everything was original(though performed by established music artist) in instead of licsend music.

I agree with NoxNoctis. Everyone has their own opinion, but what I don't agree with is someone forcing their opinion on other's , especially when their opinion is invalid due to the fact that the song has'nt even been played yet.

I don't care about intro songs as long as the videos are filled with great cars and racing footage (as it has been in the past GT games). I hated whatever the music was in the NA GT4 intro but love the video. Of course, none of these makes any difference as I'd usually turn off any music in the game (although I prefer the menu music in GT5P)- it's the content that matters the most.

"na na na" = "no no no"
Planetary (Go)! = Thanks, but (NO)!

GT5 will undoubtedly be the world's greatest driving game, arguably the world's greatest game full stop.
Surely it deserves something more than this bunch of whinging idiots.

I agree that the most important thing is the in-game content, but first impressions count.

Moon over the Castle was perfect for the style of game, it provided a stunning intro for GT4, and helped to convey PD's appreciation of the beauty of cars and motorsport.

As the GT series advances, why should we go backwards here?

I don't mind what the offical intro is, but I have to admit I was secretly hoping for Disco Duck by Rick Dees and his Cast of Idiots:

or even:

Screw this, bang some Feeder on and be done with it. It worked for GT3. And it's a lot better than MCR.

Hell, even Kasabian wasn't that bad.

No GT game intro has ever had bad music.

No GT Trailer has ever had bad music.

They know what they're doing, and it will be good. It is more about the visuals and timing/ques with the music than what the song actually sounds like.

Most of the songs in older trailers etc are not the things I'd choose to listen to, but they go amazingly well with the cinematic animations.

You all need to chill the **** out and enjoy what they create.

Anybody who watched the most recent episode of Horizon will know that what you hear is greatly effected by what you see and feel, not just what your ears sense.
(See: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00vhw1d/Horizon_20102011_Is_Seeing_Believing/ [If you dont want to watch it all skip to 9:00)
Truly an amazing episode that will make your brain implode.

Another example:

tl:dr / What you hear is influenced a great amount by what you see, therefore stop panicking.

Feeder Are AWESOME, i would love the intro to be something from Feeder. Imagine hearing Buck Rogers, 'He's got a brand new car...' That would cool.

This looks a little more civil than the news section, never seen more posturing and outright hate. I think we need to just let it be, not going to change their decision really. It is their art and they are crafting it and adding what they feel is the best for it. You people are in here crying and moaning, i can imagine if someone was telling you how to create your own expression and telling you that your choice of design is bad. It's your art, you expressing yourself and letting others know this is who I am and how I was feeling at that time.

Feel free to criticize but remember everything is subjective. It's just an opinion and neither is right or wrong, but it's still the producing artists' decision.

Put it this way.

If you never had any information about the intro, and just booted the game up I reckon you would enjoy it, and probably not realize or care that it was MCR who made the song.

MCR made emo crap because they were poor and had nothing to live for.

Now they have made loads of money so they are no longer emo.

No, I am not satisfied and so I canceled my pre-order Collectors Edition:mad:

:sly: Just kidding :)

Could care less about the music; I usually have music zet to zero; as I want to hear engine and tyre noise more 👍
