How was this not posted???

As you have probably noticed, since the beginning Assetto Corsa was primarily centered on European content. There are several contributing factors as to why this is, first of which is location of Kunos Simulazioni R&D; having been working on this project in the past four years with limited resources and budget it was easier for our development team to access the cars and tracks found near the studio.
Despite the current European focus of Assetto Corsa we are suprised to see that a big part of early access sales has come from the U.S.A. Thank you so much for your support!

Well, we have decided to thank all the American people (and all of our patrons) for the great support they have shown our game with a new exciting license addition: Assetto Corsa welcomes the Corvette! The new amazing C7 Stingray 2014 will be added to Assetto Corsa as a free content, and the incredible and beautiful Corvette C.7 race car will be part of the Dream Pack that will include ten cars and the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife! We will keep you updated with the work in progress on these new exciting car models: ciao America!

I am buying the early access tonight, it didn't have to be on sale either,

The nurburgring GP addon was a surprise newbit this AM. Is the Nordschleife confirmed to come?

I love the T500 feel when connected to a PC. The PS3 GT5/6 feedback feels like it's on lifesupport.

Is Assetto being co-developed with the folks from SimBin racing room experience?
it would be nice if they lent support to each other, otherwise it's way too divided and who would want to use both?

1) Yes.

2)

3) It isn't

I missed the sale by just under 24 hours, and though I really (really) love savings, I can't say that I feel cheated; instead, I have used the sale to push a friend towards the game (ok, perhaps it's called shoving at this point). Hell, if he had a Steam account, I'd have gifted it to him (and I can sometimes be a right tightwad).

I completely understand what you mean by Gran Turismo games (in comparison) feeling like they're on life support. When I play GT6 or Forza 4, I'm constantly wondering what the wheel is trying to tell me while making corrections for all that it isn't.

With Assetto Corsa, I feel much more connected with the car, and haven't noticed that same process taking hold. This doesn't mean that it won't or isn't (or that I think AC is perfect), but that process isn't taking center stage, my enjoyment is.

Now I just need to convince them to laserscan Cadwell Park :drool::drool:. Although at that point, I'd almost never leave its cockpit, and Assetto Corsa would become "The Real Abarth 500 Simulator."

After all comments I have read about this game it's not a matter if I will buy the game, It's a matter of when! I first need a good pc :/
Take advantage of the discount right now and get a pc later.

Yeah...never mind.

Can I call upon some assistance from GT Planet members? :)
I made a thread here:
http://www.assettocorsa.net/forum/index.php?threads/voice-attack-controlling-apps.7383/#post-96274

Voice Attack essentially is a voice controlled button box.

My intention was to use it in AC to control the apps, but since they are not assigned to keystrokes, button box users cannot bring up important information from the apps easily unless using the mouse which is cumbersome.

It may not have been an oversight by Kunos, but I just want to bring it to their attention. Judging by their superb support and on-going development I'm quietly confident that they will bring that functionality in an update.

But in the meanwhile if you think that this is something that would benefit you whether you use a button box or voice controlled simulated button box, could you please make a comment in the thread linked above?

Thank you.

We also had an update last week optimizing a couple of things so that's 3 weeks of updates in a row now.

Well those were just minor update, like bug fix. Just like the 0.6.2 and 0.6.5 update. Except this 0.0.5 update adds a new content. :)

Still impressed of what KS is doing though. AC might not sell millions, but I'm definitely a fan of them now.

This might put a shame on me, but I only found out about Netkar Pro during the tech demo of AC. I never knew there was other sim out there on par with Iracing physics during that time.

Finally got around doing good solid laps around Nurb GP with the Z4 GT-3 and the 12C GT-3 on the stock setup and damn Kunos did a great job at balancing the GT-3 cars so far!! My best lap with both is within .018 of each other! That's absolutely great work by them on the BoP part! Hat's off to Kunos for a great job!!

How you liking your new triple monitor setup? Its a bit of an investment, but I think was money well spent.

Man can you believe I haven't set it up yet?? This is my weekend off and was planing on doing it today but got caught up working on my car... Still have to get the new motherboard/case together before setting it up. Looking like tomorrow it'll be up and running.

Racedepartment's got word that Kunos is working on Spa. I'm not sure if this news is worthy of a separate thread (Kunos obtaining the RUF license has a separate thread) but it's definitely something to look forward to

Both Ruf and Spa has heen confirmed long time ago, so i dont think a new thread was necesarry. But then, I cant blame anyone if they're excited for any AC news, who wouldn't? (Well if you're not a fan that is) Plus it might be good to fill in new comers about this sim. (Still surprise how very few people know about this sim.. but it might change when released

Tomorrow I am buying Assetto Corsa. After watching videos of it for days I've decided to give in. :)

You are right... there was no need for a new thread, but I was so exited...
