I could personally drive the same car in AC for the same amount of time I've driven 10 separate cars in GT6 and enjoy myself more.
As a customer it is not my job to care how a product is made. All I care about is how good the product is and how the price compares to competitive products.
Do I need to mention the amount of content in GT6 and Forza 5?
That doesn't make any sense at all.As a customer it is not my job to care how a product is made. All I care about is how good the product is and how the price compares to competitive products.

So you are saying AC is much better than Forza 5? AC is MUCH more expensive when you compare the content.Quality >>>>> Quantity!
how as in the process it goes through. That doesn't make any sense at all.
Sorry, but I'll take AC over any GT or Forza title any day of the week! Everyone has its own priorities on what they desire from a game, on my part I care about detailed handling dynamics, FFB, tire model and a content lineup that makes sense. Not interested on a collection of random cars which doesn't hold any kind of realism in the way they behave, sound or perform. Again, that's just my personal opinion and you are free to have your own.So you are saying AC is much better than Forza 5? AC is MUCH more expensive when you compare the content.
Project cars still has a LOT more content at a similar price. Or that is low quality too?
Obviously you have no idea how business economics works. When you shop do you ask how many people and time it took to manufacture every product or you just buy the one that has the best quality/price ratio?Because for content you need people to create it, people who create it cost money, that money can only be obtained when you sell your product for a certain price. Assetto Corsa's content (laser scanned tracks, car licenses etc.) is expensive and they have a small team, which means it takes them more time to create stuff. All the time they create the content and can't sell the game, they're not earning anything (that's why they put it out as an Early Access title).
You're also forgetting that Gran Turismo and Forza sell like crazy, Kunos can be lucky if they get 10% of the sales GT5 made.
There's also no publisher or any other huge investor backing it.

Let's say you could decide between one good meal for 15$, that makes you full and 3 meals for 20$ you can't eat all yourself, don't taste as good and are unhealthy. I would go for the 15$ one.Obviously you have no idea how business economics works. Quality/Price ratio is the point, Assetto Corsa's quality justifies its price, completely, especially compared to the competitors. We also don't know the final car and track count and the game's fully moddable.
Actually we do. You can see it on their site. 14 tracks and 30ish cars.We also don't know the final car and track count.
You don't know if there aren't any surprises left.Actually we do. You can see it on their site. 14 tracks and 30ish cars.
I'm not saying it's the best game on the market (although physics wise it is), I'm saying its price is justified, especially since it's actually cheaper than the competition.
You don't know either and unless there is some hint or information that suggests extra content is possible I don't see a point in saying this. You don't know if there aren't any surprises left.
If I cared about that only I wouldn't have bought AC, don't you think?Snoopy, all you seem to care about is the track & car count in a game..? That's the impression I get.
Is it hard for you to accept that some people think of other things too (in a simulator), when deciding if its worth the money or not?
Ussually we get more than just 1 piece of content, maybe we'll get a surprise?
Mod tools please. Pretty please. So far two cars that I care to drive and one track (provided by a modder). Thank goodness for the Historix team and GT6. Sigh.
No I've tried racing the AI and it is fun, but not what I prefer. I got GT6 over the holidays and have reconnected with some old friends to get my racing fix. That and the new update from the Historix mod group for rfactor is occupying my time right now. I really like AC engine and UI, but content provided by GT and rfactor trumps it still. I am excited for the promise AC shows, but clearly my taste does not overlap much with the content Kunos is providing.Do you really see no appeal in racing the A.I. on any of the tracks. Generally I don't like open wheelers but I tried the tatuus yesterday and had a great reace on vallelunga. Try things you are not used to and you might be surprised!
