I've been looking for this car for a lifetime. Does anyone know if it already exists or if it knows aesthetically similar versions? I am willing to create the skin from 0!

for the modders (track guys), are there any here that ALSO do RF2 mods? (convert tracks to RF2 or build tracks in RF2) Id like to get in PM about a few track conversion questions please.

One of the questions to everyone else who may know the answer.. what is the closest method/shader to the rf2 shader for grass? Somehow in Rf2 the grass can look great and its dead flat, no GrassFX etc, in Spa for example, not even mesh grass but its so convincing given its jsut a flat texture!?

When these tracks get converted they are "dead" and flat compared to whatever shader rf2 uses, hoping its just because its ashader inAC we dont know how to use properly?

its difficult (for me anyway) to recreate the 3 texture/blending that is typical of rF and rF2 tracks:

tex1 = the main difuse
tex2 = a specular texture
tex3 = a normal map

I have tried all kinds of combinations to translate to a workable shader with these files... without any real success.
Grass is simply best served with GrassFX, so I gave up on that aspect to try a real shader.
Road textures are the same... and never look right using the source shader textures and try to replicate.
The normal masks almost never look right in AC for roads ( I tried in the .hack tracks too, with horrible results)

The car will install into a new folder if you have the old version. I was hoping to get more accurate physics done before this release but that doesn't look likely in the near future, so maybe that will be in the 1.0 release :)

Another racing "mod" made with Blender. Now we need a new filter that looks like this. :)


did nearly that by mistake with reshade once while trying to make R3E not look like poop. As I recall it was edgedetect.fx combined with lightstream and and some DOF> You can colour shade the lightstream but no idea how you would get the cream+red to idenify. Have a poke around with reshade maybe?

This post reminded me to give it a try again, i love the DOF it can make on AC, adds a bit of super realism to AC because in the real world im blind as a bat... I can see cars clearly up to about 100m ahead of me, after that its all pretty much a blur ;)

Magnificent version of this track !! I have a problem with the hairpin on a slope, AI do not brake and go off the track, do you have a solution please ?

First ride. As you can see, there are still many bugs. First of all, the tires are of poor quality. You have to sit on it for a while, especially when someone does it for the first time.

And it's not a professional job. This is my first time doing something like this and learning everything. If I can make it with the T.50 then I'll modify it to Niki Lauda's T.50s. But this is a distant future.

Is anyone experience game crash when loading the car to drive? I can't load the car. Does it require a specific version of CSP?

In one word... no.
I have the 1.3 version of track and I think I updated the AI from here somewhere. If you have aggression set over 75% then the open wheelers seem to take each other off anyway. 75% or more AI will attempt a do or die move. I have mine set at 74 and its perfect. Sometimes a crash, sometimes not. Just like real life.

Hmmm the car should work on all of the newer CSP releases, I didn’t test old ones, but doesn’t specifically require any I don’t think. PM me if you can’t get anywhere and we will troubleshoot.

Is it normal that a car launched at 150km/h stops in 20m when it arrives in the grass or that we lose immediately 20 or 30 km/h as soon as a wheel touches the grass?
It's the same thing on the Atlanta infield circuit.
I don't mind that the grass slows down the cars but this seems to me to be really exaggerated.
