Assetto Corsa PC Mods General DiscussionPC

[Bonny]

True. Imagine trying to convert some over from NASCAR Racing 2003 Season. There are quite a lot of car sets for that game though. But the quality. It's not worth even attempting to convert them.

i got my hands on a 2011 car from the 2013 game, it was horrible. the old ones you can forget completely

Is there a F1 1999 mod available from anywhere? I thought that Sim Dream did one but it appears that they have not.

Hi Mate.

There is currently no season available for 1999 with a full F1 fleet. Still, you have 2 options to play it. The first is the skins of all F1 teams for 1999 based on McLaren MP4 / 13 from Virtua Simulazioni and the second option is for Ferrari F399 from ASR.
You can find both skin packs at RaceDepartment.

McLaren MP4-13 1999 Season Skin Pack

Welcome to the 1999 Formula One Season 11 teams, 22 drivers, 4 champions and 9 winners are what the 1999 F1 season was like. Before installing this skinpack, you should download the McLaren MP4/13 mod created by Virtua Simulazioni here. NOTE...

F1 1999 Season - Using ASR's Ferrari F399 as a base. This is a free mod on **************, which I have been enjoying. I hope this skin pack helps you enjoy it as well. Mod Includes 1999 Season Skins, Gloves, and Helmets. Things of Note - There...

@RMi_wood
Thankyou for your hard works and recently on historic spa.
There are 2-3 little things to fix but it's already a must have!
And what about the 2003 and 2004 version of Spa? With RSS mods it will be awesome

[Cozy61]

was talking about the time-tower on the left similar to ACTV, I remember one similar from racedep that crashed once past 19 drivers.

No this one is good up to 24 drivers for timings then after that names show but the timings stop _ I found it on Racedepartment as a WIP but its disappeared into the ether for some reason - its available below

NOTE - You need to have Camtool2 installed and selected as well https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/camtool-2.15062/

Version 1.2 edit of Donnie Heerdt's wonderful 71 'Cuda. Mostly a physics update, I did do some visual stuff but only minor.
New sound, now from Scribsound's GT40 which fits this car rather nicely too.

This was updated a couple of times yesterday to v1.4 (yesterday's post updated).

UPDATED: V1.4 It's sorted now, Probably the best 718 mod now, this is fully adjustable like a race car. If you are an expert at good suspension sets this is unlimited.

If you like the mod buy me a beer if you want cheers.

Just installed the recent RD update for Longford '67, and now I'm getting this ugly vertical line on the hills in the background. Very noticable from the start/finish straight. Any ideas anyone?

It's a shaders setting for the terrain wall. @Tiago Lima, author, should be able to fix it--or someone could help him.

You can also report bugs and issues with the mod at RD. https://www.racedepartment.com/threads/longford-1967.90233/

If anybody fancies a laugh, Frank Stephenson - the designer of the Ferrari F430, Ferrari Enzo, Ferrari FXX, Maserati MC12, McLaren P1, McLaren MP4-12C, McLaren 570S, McLaren 720S, Ford Escort Cosworth, and the new retro FIAT 500 and MINI - has created a car based on... everything for GTAV, and released the Blender 3D model files for free:

McLaren Designer Frank Stephenson Creates His Own Grand Theft Auto Car

As part of his YouTube series looking into the world of car design, legendary automotive designer Frank Stephenson has put digital pen to paper to create a unique vehicle for Grand Theft Auto V. The idea for the car, which goes by the name of Frankenstein, actually comes from a previous video, i

Dropbox link is in the article above.

I'm sure he'd get a kick out of seeing it in Assetto Corsa if anybody fancies modding it in; there's no performance details, but probably something around the MC12 and FXX would be apt.

From Fecebook.

Out of idle curiousity, why do you always type this? Is it some sort of comical play on "feces" (which should be "faeces" anyway, 'cos Latin) to suggest that Facebook is crap?

[TMLM]

How do I get the headlights to flash without turning off completely? this happens on the URD Detroit as well as on the Kunos Porsche 911 RSR and when driving at night it's sort of annoying to flash the lights but to have them turn off for the duration they were supposed to flash (which they actually do when looking at them from the outside)

True. Imagine trying to convert some over from NASCAR Racing 2003 Season. There are quite a lot of car sets for that game though. But the quality. It's not worth even attempting to convert them.

Then play that game. It isn't rocket science; if the model is too low poly just play the original game.

[AidenT0653]

Anyone tried the euroracers Istanbul park or any other tracks made by them??

[benbaron]

Did you perhaps model the Le Mans bodykit, or took it from another model?
