No cockpit_hr and ofcourse road reflecting on windscreen banner too because of this (as recently discussed) but great job so far, thanks for the release!

just a quick one to fill the grid :) When I will find the time I will redo the skin in 4k (2k for now only)

There are good and bad ones. Its like with the tracks configs or tracks themselfs. Those trees can look realy good.
Case in point: Check out nanyta's 3D trees for Barcelona City Circuit, posted at RD today. They look fantastic and, at least for me (on a decent but not top-end system), don't have any impact on performance. I can't imagine anyone saying these don't look far superior to the original trees here. When done well, 3D trees can really improve realism, IMO.

To fix this problem you should change driver model via ext_config (I don't know if it's the best fix, but at least it works)

Hi guys. anyone know how to resolve this issue with the RSS GT-m cars please? csp 1.80 and pure 1.90. cheers....

For some reason this visual bug only occurs with some RSS cars, to fix it go to:

Setting/ Custom Shader Patch/Graphics Adjustment and untick "new shader for human skin".

Luckily Fiat/Abarth is less and less italian as time passes by...
But we lose part of the "charm" of the Italian car... Jeremy Clarkson will not be able to continue saying that you don't really know what it's to have a car until you own an Alfa Romeo... :D

In the end, all the cars will be perfect, boring and (gasp!) electric clone machines... 😕

Thank you very much for Boavista! I think it's not easy make AI for street circuit.
Works perfect! Thanks!

Thanks, as you say it! Porto is even a tight circuit and it needs a lot of experience with the AC AI to make it work.

Thanks mate, that worked. It was really bugging me

I have adjusted the colors of the car to the original, the result now looks truer and more saturated, just copy it into the skin folder, because of the mapping it seems impossible to paint the car, but the Jaguar logo and the purple should look nice, right?

Just copy it to the skin folder....profit

...and I will probably do the tobacco liveries when my "holidays" end. I love tobacco. Maybe I'll do a fictional multi-tobacco-livery with all tobacco brands ever made. 😍

Everyone should know by now that we don't capitalize file names on cars and tracks, but apparently it doesn't sink in :)

Here are two simple commads to raname al kn5 files to lower case.

  • type "Powershell" on Windows search bar
  • right click on it and press "Run as Administrator"

TRACKS DIRECTORY
- copy and paste the command:

Get-ChildItem -Path "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\content\tracks\" -Recurse -Include *.kn5 -File | Rename-Item -NewName { $_.Name.ToLower() }

- press Enter

CARS DIRECTORY
- copy and paste the second command for Cars dir:

Get-ChildItem -Path "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\content\cars\" -Recurse -Include *.kn5 -File | Rename-Item -NewName { $_.Name.ToLower() }

- press Enter

NOTE: make sure the -Path dir is correct for your system

The download link isn't working correctly on their Patreon page, but somehow I have the correct link.

If you don't have any audio, download a fix here...

Abarth Grande Punto (by Modpack Portugal) Sound Fix

If you don't have engine sounds, try this SFX folder. A link to the car can be found here... https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/assetto-corsa-pc-mods-general-discussion.307899/post-14054781

Hello everyone. Lately I'm having a sound and image synchronization problem in the Assetto Corsa replays and I don't know how or why it happens, I don't think I've touched anything. Can someone help me solve this? I would really appreciate it.

Though I'm pretty sure you are just kidding, please don't start getting involved in that treeFX thing... it's bad, really bad.
In the state it is now it's one of the worst things you can add to AC.
Just tried latest one for Gnoo Blass. I have never ever seen trees like that IRL, nowhere. They look alien. :scared:
Quickly reverted back to the originals.
Until now - afaik - I have kept one treeFX update. It did look better than the origininal trees and for some reason it almost didn't impact fps, nor did I have weird shadows or popping.
And I keep trying them, some tracks don't even look real anymore because the wrong kind of trees were added...
Yeah, you´re right.
Sorry, damn, I was just kidding. :boggled:

But the more I think about it, the more I think that it would certainly be more sustainable if I made Tree FX for 20 tracks and got an "Asus GeForce RTX 4090 ROG Strix OC Edition 24GB GDDR6X" as a gift in return ... ;)
Not that anyone would gift me one or the other, but if he did, the 4090 ROG Strix would definitely motivate me twice as much :D

Of course, as mentioned, with fallback to non Tree FX for the poor people who still use old snoring potatoes.

if your talking about what i think you are, you can move the car around to any position you like in the "update preview's" arrow then "options". you should be able to left click and hold and move the car around easily

Sometime's you must go to the little white triangle under "Update previews" or in german "Vorschauen aktualisieren" ------>

options----> camera tab and there is "Alignment" under that you must fiddle around with these two options but don't forget to set it to default again

Someone using the new CSP preview? I can't find the CSP apps anymore. The mirror app is really needed.

thanks, but I know that way already. Thought there would be a solution without adapting nearly every second mod manually

Oh, unless you have a very friendly mechanic, the charm is long gone anyway...
Or, unless, like our good @Geppo, you're ok with overpriced mozzarellas on wheels.

under particlesFX or extraFX idrc at the moment there's a new feature for the skin. Untick that box ad this should fix your problem. Sorry for my imprecision, no time to check cause I'm not at my rig currently
