Sorry guys for the spam but i think this is a pretty step up for Assetto Corsa. I just released a first early access build on a big mod i'm working on called "Assetto Corsa Universe". It's a calendar mode where the AI develop over time and increase skilll and traits. Also there's a huge procedural dynamic generation of Teams, Driver etc.. I would love if you could check it out.

It looks cool, but a big part of the Assetto Corsa experience is everyone's install is completely different from one another. So, is this going to require a pre-selected list of mods everyone needs to use, or will there be any freedom in that regard?

Also, Assetto Corsa even in the base game doesn't really have super well balanced car classes unless we labour away making content manager presets with balast and restrictor settings. Will your mod have the functionality to load content manager presets given it seems to be an alternate launcher?

It's a nice UI and reminds me a lot of Project CARS 2, but unlike a curated experience like that, AC needs a lot of tweaking to work with class-based progression imo.

and the AI needs major behavioral improvements, which has been on the CSP "to-do" list for years but only just got an initial tweak with the latest CSP preview.

It's a good idea in theory but I can't see it working in practice until the single player part of the sim matures considerably.


If this is a paid mod like Evoluzione, I will definitely wait.

Guys, I need some help. Just went for a stroll on Tom's Sim Side's Petersberg Hillclimb and the grass does not render. It used to up until the last time I ran there (a few months ago, I reckon) but now it doesn't and for the life of me I can't seem to figure out why. I'm running his latest 0.92 version. It has no extension file. What can be the issue and how can I solve it?

what's too old ? I'm already approaching 50 ... so I will prob not be able to play this mod , right? ;)

And a more serious question: will you keep VR users in mind (for the UI)?

This does not answer your question, however...
I do believe all of my P2P tracks have at least 4 (or more) grid spots with full AI, timers and cams. You can find them on my (always) free Patreon (link in signature)
Yes, I am a big supporter of yours and your P2P tracks are always usable offline, so thank you for that. I always enjoy your work, it's top notch regardless of it's a circuit, P2P or a hybrid like Sun City.

It's for another mod, it's named incorrectly, it's oriented incorrectly.
Most Likely for a different mod.

I used this skin pack, on Audi A4 STW and A4 Quattro Supertourincar of "F302", Alfa 156 STW of "MSC".
Also on Audi A4 STW of "Cyril Cherry" they don't work

New engine bay with a real engine inside, new rims and brake systems, new mapping, new objects, 3d model fully revised, new front and rear lights, new textures, animated shifter, complete new data (aero, tyres, suspension, power, AI, cameras...), new CSP configs and additions, LMS skins created and added, actual skins revised, new lods, new sound by NekoTaisen // DON'T FORGET TO DELETE THE OLD CAR AND MAKE A CLEAN INSTALL! (Link has been updated in the original post to reflect this) Note: Disable ABS in the tuning menu. Car did not have it irl so having it enabled causes the brakes to not work.

Probably a dumb question but apparently these don't exist so... Is there a way to adjust the chase cam position for each car car ?

i found out that, cars with a not-proper car.ini and suspension.ini files, most of them having too low or too high chase cam positions. but if you edit those files to get the proper chase cam position, physics may get broken or get excessive body roll. but little adjustments may get you there. In car.ini file, if you adjust the car position to be lower (middle value), and then suspension.ini file play with basey values to get the car high again to get a higher chase cam position. but play with those values carefully to not broke the cars physics. a quallity mod car doesnt need this adjustments (kunos cars are good too). but if you get a crappy converted mod car, you will likely get this chase cam problems. i resolved mine this way adjusting the car.ini and suspensions.ini to get proper chase cam position.

This AC App looks quite good for those who like tweaking tracks.

I wonder how easy/difficult would it be to manually add things like marshals and random people to tracks, in order to give them more 'life'?

Many tracks are so devoid of people it's crazy!

Cockpit LR added, complete new interior mapping, new textures, new interior and exterior lighting, glasses reflections fixed, new CSP additions (glasses, mirrors,lights...), aero, tyres and suspension revised, new fuel consumption, new LODS, kn5 lighter ... DON'T FORGET TO DELETE EVERYTHING BEFORE INSTALL !!!
Another update, The Spyker C8 GT2 got an update today. What's been done is at the bottom of the original post, Link has been updated to the V2 variant.

I have a pack of about 50 tso things buildings, tents, vehicles etc. Now that we have most of the bugs out (and my addition of the AC cubes) maybe I will drop it here soon-ish. ( I will look for some marshals and 3d spectators to put in it)

I've always wondered why the vegetation of the old tracks seems to ignore the direction of the sunlight and the shadows, but looking around I think I understood that there is no CSP parameter that solves it but it is the textures or the vegetation files of the track.
I'll leave the word to the experts..
