Just another word on Fanapryde. For those who don't know, aside from enjoying fast cars, he also liked going fast on the water and competed in windsurfing at a high level. He was actually the Belgian champion in the 50+ category and got up to speeds above 70km/h.

These are a couple of pics he sent me. Sail on my friend!

DRM Revival and Tommy78 are definitely NOT bad mods. What did this guy smoke for saying that?
Tyrone tracks too. They could be better if only he would be divide some meshes for the grass for example in order to have grass separated from the gravel which is a limitation of RaceTrack Builder, but for sure they are not bad at all. RMi too? What kind of problems have this guy?

Mostly because we refused their childish d*ck and b*tt play antics on Discord and didnt give a **** about whatever Klown, Arch and LTK were doing.
BTW... Arch (an 18yo from Finland) always proclaimed his physics were superior when he used a gamepad and didnt even have a drivers license and got all puffed up because I said his physics were crap after he tried to make my Alpha T33/12 "better"

Please lets dont ever mention these fools again thnx

This is a list of whitelisted and blacklisted mod creators and teams from the URD discord server. Can someone please tell me why RSS would be blacklisted (especially considering that a while back they were whitelisted)?
Easy. They kept insulting the other teams both urd and vrc for that. They are very toxic. And there are certain things about some jobs that are very suspicious and strange…

That would explain why his cars feel unrealistic. I feel they're hard to drive just for the sake of being hard to drive, not because they're realistic.
He does have a tendency to ruin other people's cars. Did the same with Singer's 911, the version before he messed with the physics is far better.

Speaking of 3d trees, I stumble on this dude (MoriSan) a while ago, he made 3d trees for Trento Bondone and its pretty good, better than 3d trees available at OT!
On my side I have no bizzare color grading, no nuclear whatever you guy describe, NO morphing!!

That's the major sin of all sim racing in general. I find it hilarious that real GT3 and F1 drivers constantly say that sims have way too slippery kerbs and the cars (generally) have way too little traction compared to real racecars. When F1 2020 was released and some F1 driver tested it (maybe George Russell) to give feedback to the devs, he said that the car felt 100% more realistic when the TC was set on. And most sim racers complained that the F1 cars in that game had way too much grip. They sure are better experts than a real F1 driver, huh?

Look at the incar footage of modern F1 and see how those guys can clock 70 laps all those kerbs spot on... and the tolerances are measured in centimeters how they take the corners. Sure they're the best drivers but without insanely high traction it wouldn't be possible to be that consistent. And the gaps in QF between 1st and 20th is about 6 tenths. In the old days it was often like 8 seconds. Sure the older F1 cars should be harder and sloppier to drive on the sims too. Even during the grooved tyres years (Hakkinen-Schumacher-Hill era) the gaps came much closer already.

Now it's actually crazy how small the differences are... today's QF at Monza was a great example. But I've noticed that you can't make old F1 cars very sloppy on AC... otherwise you get all kinds of AI problems because there are so many factors to consider when you build a season. They just won't stay on the track. That's why it must be tough to make a good 60's or 70's F1 season on AC and have somewhat realistic lap times (without making the top speeds way too slow).

I increased the Ferrari Virtua Simulazione 1998 rear traction a little because the car was oversteering and sliding like crazy and immediately someone complained that "it has too much traction now".

Oh yeah... how does he know that? That F1 car should behave like a drift car E30.

People say how great iRacing rain physics are. GT3 driver James Baldwin said that it has WAY too little grip on the rain. Same with ACC's kerbs... they can immediately slingshot you to the next dimension if you take them wrong. LMU has done them much better. On iRacing there was no way to save the car from snap oversteer... you ALWAYS became a passenger when you lost the grip. Every pro driver has said it was totally unrealistic. (Now they supposedly have better tyre model) Sure you can lose the cars... and even the best DO lose the car often... but not with 100% consistency.

Yes... people think more difficult means more realistic. That's a problem. I'd say the actual difficulty should come from AI skill... not making the driving unnaturally hard.

Kunos cars are pretty good generally but if you want to drive a bad car with literally ZERO traction, try Kunos RUF Yellowbird.

In URD own words
1. Blacklist is for people that make mods that are ripped content aka from other games. URD simply do not want ripped car content posted on their discord for very obvious reasons.
2. RSS is blacklisted cause CC kept causing issues between URD and RSS. Antagonizing URD for no proper reason to the point where RSS fanboys would join the discord only to talk **** constantly. So URD did the reasonable thing and simply blacklisted all RSS content from their server.

Think the rest of the blacklist is pretty obvious.

The original source for both tracks is the same: GP4. magnycours_1992 was converted for AC from a version where Caio Fonseca & From33to77 significantly reworked the objects/meshes/textures during conversion for rF2. The differences are most noticeable when looking at the kerbs, walls, and guardrails. Since the folder names are different, you can keep both and compare them.
Hey Shi, I believe your magnycours_1992/1992 version and your asr_owc_1992_round_08 are essentially the same track.
However asr_owc_1992_round_08 needs an ai_hints.ini file for 88-94-97 (done by Thockard), I see that Magny 1992/1992 has no hints file included in the data folder.

Was that on purpose? I.e. we don't need a hints file for the awesome patreon version?

Why is this subjective Klown Posse nonsense getting airtime again after all these years, as if it's something to be respected?
I also can not see any logic in this list, did publish this more as an joke.
But it's one very biased and deliberately provocative list from a group of self-proclaimed 'expert' circle-jerkers that's already been discussed and debunked ad nauseum many years ago when it first surfaced.
Do you believe he did test all the paid mods and if so, then I guess the illegal downloaded incomplete rev0 versions. So the rest of his ranking also very suspicious.

If you are angry about this good/bad list, please do not care. It’s always easy to criticize other people’s work without any explanation. Think if you have remarks then you always explain what in your eyes needs improvements. But the same also counting for those mod users who give a 5star ranking for every mod good or bad. Further what in my VR headset is showing as beautiful craftsmanship could be for a other users seen as terrible bad made.
I would ask, please keep on your good modding work.

they should blacklist themselves for encrypting physics data where you cannot read tyre info, into the trashbin it goes
